  1. I'll agree. There is a significant difference between a cache log and a personal blog about geocaching. Cache logs are there to track caches, blogs are there to allow individuals to share what is on their minds - in this case also about geocaching in general.
  2. No problem. I hope that works for you. I'm not terribly wild about Picasa 2, but like how it interfaces directly with Blogger. Google is really branching out in what it does!
  3. I use the Hello plugin for Picasa 2 that is made by Google. This lets you upload a photo to your log directly from Picasa 2.
  4. Hmmm... can I add a link to the signature?
  5. Adventures in Geocaching
  6. Thanks for all of the great feedback and encouragement! : Adventures in Geocaching
  7. I've noticed quite a few personal websites about Geocaching. But I have only come across a few blog sites about the daily lives of cachers. Do you or does someone you know write a blog about their geocaching adventures? Although I've only been caching for a few weeks, mine is Adventures in Geocaching.
  8. I just found three nano/micro caches in my area just this week and LOVED it. The first one was a standard "light post" cache, but took me almost 30 minutes to find it. Somehow, this guy made the nano container look like the end of a bolt. WOW! Talk about a find!
  9. Can a feature be added to track trade items? The L could be a blank for a short description and the T could be a dropdown from the remaining L submissions. Then, people could search for a particular trade item key word. For instance, if I am about to do a night cache and I can search local caches that have glow sticks, it would be really cool.
  10. I want to let everyone know that I just bought CacheMate and used it with Pocket Queries to find two caches very easily by having the information right at my fingertips when I needed it. Also, I use a Handspring Visor and HandyGPS. With CacheMate's plugins, I was able to copy and paste the coordinates from CacheMate to my GPS navigation application. I finally have my GeoCaching All-In-One solution!!!!!
  11. Thanks for all of this great info. I just tested out CacheMate and the CacheNav plugin, but it crashes my PDA when I launch CacheNav with the GPS attached. Some sort of communication error there for sure. The other thing I am having trouble with is getting the coordinates converted to dec for my built-in software with my HandyGPS. Is there an easy way to copy and convert coords from CacheMate to another Palm navigation app? The only way I can think of is with a pen and paper which defeats my whole plan of a paperless cache.
  12. Does anyone use a device like the Handspring Visor or another Palm-based PDA with a GPS attachment to seek caches, download waypoints, track finds, follow TBs, etc? Also, any applications that can record log data in the field and upload to GeoCaching.com? I use a HandyGPS with my Handspring Visor and love it, but so far, I haven't found any other applications that do everything else on my one PDA.
