[Found an unactivated TB]

Hi all,

 

I recently collected a TB from a cache, but when I returned home and tried to log it it shows as Unactivated.

 

I checked the log and have sent a message to the person who left it there, but they haven't responded and it's been over a week.

 

I'm just wondering, if they don't respond if there is anything else I can do to track down the original owner and get this bug activated? Can I adopt it if it's an orphan?

Looks like I spoke too soon - horrendously slow here in the UK again this evening - but was nice and nippy this morning.

 

So probably a peak time load / capacity issue then.

Hi all,

 

New cacher here, only three days in

 

I Found a micro cache today which had a full log, so I logged the visit as Needs Maintenance and left a note accordingly.

 

But this still shows up on the map as a green icon - do I need to do another entry to mark it as found?

 

I want my little smiley face icon

Yes indeed, the gallery images are now loading nice and quickly.

Hi all,

 

Forgive me if this has been covered elsewhwere, I tried searching previous topics but couldn't see any other reference to the problem (not helped by the fact that 'gallery slow load' is an invalid search as each word needs to be at least 5 characters long )

 

I just joined Geocaching.com yesterday and upgraded to premium.

 

The problem is that gallery pictures and thumnails are incredibly slow to load - so slow that I usually don't bother.

 

Everything else on the site seems to work fine - nice and speedy. Except the gallery

 

Is this a known issue? Is it just me?
