  1. Pretty off topic. I'll take IBTL for $1,000 Alex
  2. Wow what an awesome experience. Thanks for sharing!!
  3. There have been many discussions about the knock-offs. Basically they will work if done properly out of the sun and away from water but the Lock n Lock brand out performs them in almost every instance.
  4. Everyone has different tastes regarding caching experiences and unfortunately with freedom of speech the forum gets clogged with opinions which raise debates day in and day out. This never gets old I think the key thing to remember is that not every cache container/hide/location/experience is for EVERY cacher. Some you will like, some you won't. At the end of a long day I hope the positives far out weigh the negatives. Cache on!
  5. LMAO GeoGeeBee - That's funny, I don't care who you are, that there's funny! I try to carry log sheets, duct tape and tie straps. The NM log is always in my back pocket too
  6. Owner maintenance stating log dry - end of subject for me. Moving on to more important things in life...
  7. looks like dollar store checker pieces to me. Anybody else?
  8. Found one a few months ago by a farm field and the farmer left a note similar to: "Hi I am the farmer that owns the adjacent property. This game seems pretty fun. I am leaving a kernel of corn"
  9. wowza I started reading along and the #s didn't make sense. around post 5 or 6 I noticed the date. Yikes this thread is an oldie! How did you even find it? 7.5 years without a post lol... Anywho I wonder how things look in today's world of 1.3mil caches...
  10. I'll use the masking tape roll to draw a perfect circle on this piece of wood I am going to carve out and place as a cache. In return I'll leave the wood chips (about a half pound worth)
  11. Awesome dedication to the sport! Thanks for putting in that kind of effort. I hope this thread inspires others to get creative and build great caches like this one! I know I am inspired. Best of luck and watch the favorite points stack up We found one like this a few months ago. After searching for about 15 minutes we were almost ready to DNF it when our 10 year old kicked a stump out of frustration saying "This one must be missing" The cache had magnets but no hinge and was easily discoverd when the stump "opened up"
  12. Get ready to be told it's "bad taste" to ask for help on puzzles on an open forum lol. I personally see no issue with reaching out. Good luck with the puzzles!
  13. Nowhere near the left coast Fresh water east of BC and west of PEI South of James Bay and North of Niagara Falls

  15. Congrats on the ON souvi and sorry to hear about the $42 DNF that's more than I have ever spent on a DNF. Wet feet... I get wet feet every time I go caching LOL. I always seem to leave the good boots at home when I need them
  16. Here's a couple hints on the current challenge. 45th parallel Ontario
  17. You gotta do the table rock earth cache and the niagara virtual. the TB hotel is probably winter friendly from what i remember. there is one close to it named something like COBRA monkey something? I reccommend it and it's definately winter friendly. When we were there last we tried to jump over the boarder to claim a few but didn't have the time next time!!
