  1. The coin is for sale, but there is still an image that says it will be coming soon. If you look carefully, right below and to the right of the Family coin, there is a button that says next. Click it, and it will take you to the "next" page, where you can add our coin and 2Golfers to your basket.
  2. For those that wanted to know the answer to this question (I emailed AG yesterday)...There was no presale of these two coins.
  3. ROTFL! We have so many of these blasted beanies! They do take up more space than coins, but they are softer.
  4. OK folks…it’s official. The DresselDragons coins will be for sale at Coins&Pins starting Sunday, July 2nd. Sales are expected to start between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM Eastern time. A few reminders about the specs… • Measures 1.75" diameter. • Plated in antique silver with red sparkly enamel (see it at the begining of this thread, on our profile, our forum icon or on C&P website). • Trackable on Geocaching.com. • Has its own icon (posted it somewhere else in this thread). • Coin and icon designed by Yime. • Activation codes can be retrieved at CoinCodes.com. C&P have these coin in-stock…they will ship shortly after you place your order. The 2golfers geocoin (another cool Yime design) is going up for sale at the same time. To answer the question of trades…yes, we will be doing some trading eventually for personal geocoins not already in our collection (not sure if we have your coin already? Check out our list at: The GeoCoin Collecting Trading Gallery). We may entertain other options, but remember, we are mainly collecting personals that we do not already have. To answer another question, yes we had LEs made (70 in shiny gold), and ULEs (uber LEs - 30) in antique copper. The copper ones will only be used for UBER SPECIAL trades. The dragons will be doing some traveling in July. We are heading to the Midwest GeoBash next week, and then to Canada after we recover from the Bash. We will be partially available at the Bash, but mostly cut off from civilization in Canada (only dial-up internet available, and only 1 phone line for 5 cabins). Therefore, don’t be surprised if you don’t hear from us right away.
  5. I'm sorry...I just couldn't help myself!
  6. You put the Yime in the Coke, you nut! LOL!
  7. I've been busy with Girl Scout camp this past week. Now that it is over, I can shift my attention back here. When I have more info, I will post it (of course, if you are on the C&P mailing list, you will receive it probably just as fast as I will, since the sale should be starting soon).
  8. Well...not anymore. It was a pretty short preview. We've been waiting for this cache to "return" for awhile. We saw it reactivate the other day, and had to sit at home yesterday while the rain poured down off and on all day. After tennis today, we headed out for some lemonade. When my hubby saw there was a coin in the logbook, he grabbed it, said "Mine!", and pocketed it. The bum. It is an AWESOME coin!
  9. Cool coin! Most of our golfing is of the miniature variety!
  10. OMG! I used the same dragon picture on our Midwest Geobash t-shirts!
  11. You can now see a picture of our coin at the Coins and Pins website...no, it's not for sale yet, but we're getting closer. Tentatively, the sale will start at the beginning of July.
  12. They should be just about done minting the coins (their 2-3 week production estimate will be up on the 21st). As soon as I have more news, I'll let ya know.
  13. and I'm sure you'll find a least one in a new cache around here...once I get mine!
  14. For those of you posting to be added to the presale list...CoinsAndPins.com will not have pre-sales for this coin. It will be sold when it is ready to go and in stock (soon, I hope). They like to sell items that are in stock so that everyone's money is not tied up for a shipment. The best way to get notified of the sale is to join their mailing list. They will let everyone on the list know when the coins start selling. You can join the list by going to their site, click on the Stock Geocoin page and then click on the mailing list link at the top of the page.
  15. Nope...Yime helped us with this too.
  16. Just realized that I did not upload the icon...well...here it is!
  17. Coins and Pins are making these for us...they are awesome folks to work with!
  18. We finally took the plunge…time to announce the DresselDragons geocoin. This is a YemonYime design, created way back in March…THANKS Prime Yime! The coins have been in full production since the end of May, and the plan is for them to go on sale at the beginning of July. The finish is antique silver, with red sparkle enamel on both sides…trackable with icon. I took these pictures myself, so please excuse their quality…I am not that good with close-up shots… More details will be available later!
  19. We got ours here...iPrint, and we're happy with it. The store always has specials/coupons available. When we got ours, I think that it was 40% off.
  20. OK...it's not the largest, but it's bigger than the typical TB... Brenda's B-day Bus Stop. It was a gift to her at a GC event. We made a logbook for the TB. The logbook goes into the cache container, and the TB is hidden nearby. We ask the cahers to put the coords and a description of where it is hidden in the TB logbook. It seems to be workin well, but no one seems to want to move the TB out of the park.
  21. 9 in 400 caches...20 pages, 22.9 from my home. Most are USA or PA geocoins. There were also a couple events, but I did not count them.
  22. No hand-slapping, you did nothing wrong. These are just signature items left by someone that found the cache. Lots of people collect and/or trade wooden nickels from a cache or through this forum (there is a wooden nickel trading thread). There are lots of different methods to make them, too. We had a stamp made and stamp our nickels, others print stickers to add to the nickels, and there are online companies that will make nickels for you.
