  1. Here's a shameless plug for 3 very under-used caches - they are not as hard as they look, and all are in scenic areas!

  2. I'm starting to get the impression that travel bugs disappear in St. Louis.

They probably disappear at about the same rate everywhere. Eventually most seem to end up missing. Some are kept by newbies that leave the game, some get lost, for some the cache they are in gets muggled, and some folks just decide to keep them. I suspect that almost all tbs eventually go missing but many last several years before that happens and some even reach a destination and get retired.

Happy to see that you are concerned about them. It will be fun having you guys in this game.

I thought it was only Edmonton... good to know.

  3. Hang in there, it's worth it! ;) After 70 caches, I still have streaks of no-finds. It happens. Try other caches and come back with a new confidence. Also, summer vegetation can make caches much harder that are dead easy in March or October!

  4. Try GC1GE87 Oriental Bay, Texas (Wellington)

Last found June 13. Bring a pen!!!

To get there, walk east on Oriental Pde, then go up Hay st from Oriental Bay, then turn left into Telford Tce where a trail starts south up the hill. When you meet the main trail coming from the east, turn into that one. Shouldn't be far from there.

Good luck and say hello to Wellington for me! ;)
