  1. Yes I do. This way I can remember what to write when I goto log it on geocaching.com Here is an example of what I am talking about: http://www.amazon.com/Geocaching-Log-Book-Michael-Sajdak/dp/1438252145/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I9PY9DQLGVLA0&colid=12UC5PB9MS8OD I am looking for the sheets in .pdf, word, excel, etc. Oops! I posted right when you did, so I was confused! I have never heard of anybody doing this...
  2. This sounds like letterboxing: From Wikipedia: "Finders make an imprint of the letterbox's stamp, either on their personal notebook or on a postcard, and leave an impression of their personal stamp on the letterbox's "visitors' book" or "logbook" — as proof of having found the box and letting other letterboxers know who has visited. Many letterboxers keep careful track of their 'find count'." In geocaching you just sign the logbook in the cache and then you log it online. In letterboxing, you stamp the notebook in the box with your personal stamp and you also stamp your own notebook with the box's stamp. Are you sure you are in the right forums? Do you letterbox or geocache? If you are new and have a question, feel free to ask it in the "Getting Started" Forum. http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showforum=5
  3. Nice mount! I was thinking about getting an Explorist GC. Can you tell me what you think of it (how well it works, what you like and what you don't)? Thanks! I really like it, though it is a one trick pony. It does Geocaching and nothing else. If I were shopping today, I might look at one of the higher end Explorists. Ok thanks! I know that I probably won't use a gps for something OTHER than geocaching and I also don't have enough money for a higher end unit. So if you think it is good, then I will probably get it! Thanks again!

  5. Thanks! Yeah, my mom has started caching with me more and a reviewer in my area offered to go with us. Everything's a lot better! I'm glad you liked the Site!
  6. Or a few minutes ... Dang that was fast!!! The website is way better now! How'd that happen??
  7. I bet the site is totally messed up, based on how slow it was. It could be a few hours or a day...
  8. The site has been sooo slow. I've been wondering when they were going to do this!!!
  9. wow...way too much money for me...not that thats your fault..
  10. Don't buy it! I have one now and it has no cable so basically it sucks for geocaching...thats probably why hes selling it!
  11. If you have them pay, at the most it should only be about 5 dollars. Anything higher is pretty ridiculous. If you work hard enough to pull off an amazing event, then I'm sure most geocachers won't have a problem paying a little fee to support you.
  12. Mtn-man can speak for me in this situation. But thanks. By the way, I have this little itch behind my left ear... would you mind? Oh dang, I forgot to go buy a flea collar this morning while I was at the store! Oh well...
  13. The only reason they still talk about it is because they are afraid the aliens might get mad at them for removing their caches!
  14. Yes this may be true but this is all hypothetical for laughs. True, you will nearly always tell the truth. This is just for fun but i guess everyone thinks I'm asking for real suggestions. I just want to hear some clever hypothetical responses. Oh! Then I suggest that you dress up in full Star Trek costume, stare intently at your gpsr, and mutter about "unusual tricorder readings" and "rifts in the space/time continuum" whenever someone is in earshot. You won't have to answer any questions--everybody will stay WELL away from you! Nice...but I still like my idea better:
  15. Why don't you just ask Knowschad???
  16. A couple months ago I posted 3 "Needs Archived" logs in ONE DAY, simply because there were three-four DNF logs on each one and the cache owners hadn't been on the website for the past 4-12 months. I had also emailed each of the COs several times with no responses. I bet my reviewer thinks I am a jerk, but not me!
  17. Also...the new Blogger Template Designer (the nice one) will not work on IE9 running on Windows 7. This is stupid...
  18. check EVERY SINGLE THING in your query. if you've already done that then something is wrong with the cache...
  19. I know it seems stupid but when I found out that there where a new cache and my query said it wasn't I had to ask around what I did wrong! oh ok!
  20. If you know there is a new cache why do you need a PQ? I'm not trying to say your question is dumb I was just wondering...
  21. I went to Moab with my family a couple years ago!!! :D
  22. don't understand your question!!!
