  1. I saw Kfam's picture of him up to his chin in water at the Bloated Festering head last week on the home page. Darn, I should have saved the picture!
  2. Ahh.. aren't they adorable! My kids are cute, too.
  3. The Little Blue family will be a team of 4 for dinner on Saturday evening, tho the other 3 in my family will be out doing their own, non-CM, thing during the day. Could someone recommend the best places for a dad and a 4 yr old and 7 yr old to hang out? Great playgrounds, etc?
  4. And a great time was had by all ! I had a good group of night hiking buddies to keep the boogey man at bay tonight in Juanita. A couple neighbours wanted to know where the party was and why they weren't invited . One of the tacks along the hike had been appropriated to tack up a 'Jesus' dollar . Lots of fun and thanks to all those that showed up. Sorry to hear about your crock pot situation, TL. Maybe sometime I'll figure that one out! See some of you tomorrow at the Red Robin for Night Hike Part Deux!
  5. That's what I remember . As to additional caches, I am always up for caching! Can't wait- see ya'll there! Oh, do we want to get a head count here so we know who we're waiting for?
  6. Congrats blindleader, Ajetpilot, and W7WT! Rock on!
  7. You think I'd night cache in a swamp with people I've barely met?!? Oh yeah, I guess I would...
  8. You're going to hides frito pies in the park?!?
  9. Warning: I carry my Maglight like a weapon while night caching! I'll cache until someone else runs out of steam! I really would like to do the North Bend hinght cache if ya'll are up to it...
  10. Well, I'd like to do some caching after the meeting- dinner at 6:30 at the Red Robin Jester mentioned? Have to go back in the thread and see which one that was... Then Jester's night cache- "Nighttime Isn't Just for Sleeping". And 4 Oh 5 Troll. They are both in the same spot- behind the Renton Community Center. And then...
  11. Ha, ha, ha Not unless you all post 2000 or so new caches around the Eastside that I can find before school ends!
  12. That's Cujo?! LOL- I wasn't expecting irony! Very cute!
  13. Way to go Pepper and Puppers! Congrats!!!
  14. Glad you found your dog, willcall! There have been a couple of times where I couldn't find the girls for a short time when they were younger and liked to wander and I will always remember that feeling of panic! What is up with that cache? I've been waiting on it til someone figures out the kosher way to access it. But why are the ratings so low for such a confusing hide? On the other hand, I recently did a cache that was rated 4 for difficulty and it was tupperware wrapped in a trash bag sitting in the crook of a tree. So you never know what someone's interpretation of the rating system will be.
  15. Congrats OldBaldEagle and nevcowpoke! Way to go! And congrats Moun10Bike! 2700 makes me dizzy to contemplate!
  16. We'd love to have you, Kiersolvd . I, too, have DNFed 4 Oh 5 Troll and need to fix that. I think in a group we should be safe enough. The cache owner will protect us, right Jester?
  17. OOPS! Sorry- brain hasn't woken up this morning yet and yesterday was a stressful day You are right, it's the 11th and 12th. Sorry for the confusion!
  18. Sounds good- meeting the 11th @6:45 at the parking coords for EGH!'s night cache. What time do you all want to meet for dinner and where next Saturday? EDIT to remove erroneous mention of tonight
  19. Congrats on 100! The first of may milestones to come . We've had that cache on our list for a while now!
  20. Yay, I get to cache with TotemLake again- only 4 1/2 months after the last time! Look forward to seeing you all there. And as for the 12th- shall we meet at 6:45pm at Jester's night cache? Then on to the other one?
  21. 6:45p at the parking coords then?
  22. Why don't we do EGH!'s cache GCMGE9 on the 11th and then the other two the 12th. EGH's looks like it might take some time. And jcar's suggestion is a good one as well- maybe we can try that one sometime. What time should we meet? Should we meet at the listed parking or a local establishment at duskish?
  23. Doing Jester's night cache in the evening after the WSGA meeting sounds like a great idea. Want to do one of the other two that Friday night and one after Jester's?
  24. Here's to a speedy recovery, hydnsek! I'll bow to the will of the people- either this Saturday or next? Both should work well for me.
  25. Looks like the trestle will be destroyed later this year, so adoption will be short lived. I don't think fear of heights would bother me on that one since I've talked to people who said they felt safe enough. I'm only bothered if there's a dropoff where I can't see down. *That* scares me!
