  1. Hi Katja

A couple o weeks ago I received the eragonSaphira & GRC Mint coins I had ordered. Right now eragonSapira is busy collecting orders for the 99.9% Fine Silver Edition of the same coin. I've ordered one and just today I received the bill for it: € 47,50 and an additional $ 6,87 to get it to Holland by airmail!

  2. These are real geocoins, but -indeed- not trackable, like so many other geocoins, especially the early ones. But they sure are tradable!

I think they are very nice and original and they tell about geocaching hazards that really have happened. This picture shows you that the story on #2 is true! :D:D

  3. I think XopherN71 is right about this item's origin. But I don't think it's a wooden nickel like we sometimes find them in caches. Obviously it has a screw-eye on top so it might be meant to be hung on a rope or a lanyard around one's neck. In that case it may be a kind of a 'ski-pass' that you get handed over at the tourist office after having paid the fees for the use of the local ski run and the ski lift. This could also explain the image on this item. The Hrabetice Tourist Office must be missing #35 from the nail in the wall now!

  4. All three locations in the Netherlands are within a distance of 40 kms from the village where I live. I have found the 1962 cairn near the town of Dronten, so at least that one still exists. I'm almost sure that the 1977 cairn has disappeared, but probably the 1990 one will still be there. We'll see.

There are some caches nearby each location, but none of them has been dedicated to the World Ploughing Contest. It may be a good idea to create one now from which the 'Netherlands to NZ World Ploughing Geocoin' could start its journey to the other side -yes, exactly- of the world.

So, George Family, I'll be happy and honoured to help you set one of these coins free from here!

  5. Hi all!

I have one of these beautiful, 2-inch, handmade, real porcelain Delft Blue 'Klomp/Wooden Shoe' geocoins available for trade. It's geocaching.com trackable and has a small Delft Blue Dutch windmill for an icon. This ultra special geocoin is #39 of 125 and no more Klomp coins will ever be made.

I'm willing to trade it for a Templar 2-tone. Other very, very special offers will be taken into serious consideration as well, but please don't be too disappointed in case of a rejection.

Anyone interested in a trade for this Klomp geocoin please send me e-mail or a PM. Thanks!

  6. The GeocoinFest Multi Event geocoins for 25 different event locations haven't been issued yet, but I'm trying to arrange trades for some of them already.

I'd like to trade 8 of the 10 GeocoinFest Multi Event geocoins, location NETHERLANDS, for: British Columbia, Aotearoa, Hawaii, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

If you've ordered any of these coins and want to trade one for one of my 'Netherlands' coins then please send me a PM or an e-mail message. I'll ship on the Monday after the event.

    Thanks!

    Captain Zulu, Swifterbant (Netherlands)
