  1. How about five 5/5 caches within 100 miles of 29210? - T of TandS
  2. How about virtual, ie existentialist caches? are they 'camus'??? - T of TandS
  3. If it's disguised as a cow patty, is that camoo? - T of TandS
  4. How about: Geo-Adventurers, a Story of Real Life Treasure Hunters ??? -T of TandS
  5. Pick us pick us pick us.... If you like. - T of TandS
  6. Here's one we placed that was well-liked, Deliverance. Two others we really loved doing were Alien Message and I'll Seek a Readier Path. - T of TandS
  7. Don't forget The Mother of all Caches Part IV - The Big Kahuna Nobody has ever done this one in just one day!!!! - T of TandS
  8. A local hider uses an E-Trex yellow. His caches are great and lots of fun. Since I know his unit doesn't have WAAS I turn it off on his hides and that helps a lot. But on all others the WAAS seems to help. My $.02. - T of TandS
  9. Lots of great deals on the garage sale forum. Garmin Vistas recently posted for $150 asking. Probably gone by now. We use a Vista and love it. Garmin Legend and better is great. A friend uses an ETrex Yellow exclusively and bags 5/5s. - T of TandS
  10. S is definitely my favorite find!!!!!! - T
  11. yes, aquarose, but it did get you out of that final exam!!!! - T
  12. S paid 1.96 per yesterday at Sam's Club in Cola SC. Cost almost $20 to fill up her Miata! Still pretty cheap tho. And then we went to a Geocachers Mtg and then went caching. - T
  13. S and I are newlyweds, Feb 19, and I've had to swear on my wedding ring not to go caching without her. I've nearly gotten killed/blinded/crippled whenever I've gone without her anyways. At least I know she's not after the life insurance. - T
  14. S has posted about geocaching in a non GC blog and turned two posters on that blog onto geocaching. - T
  15. You're listening to the hoops game on the radio. A commercial for a Plumbing and Gas supply company comes on. They're advertising gas logs, but you hear 'cache logs' the first time and do a double take. - T
  16. S and I have placed a literary cache, Deliverance, in our neck of the woods. This cache is all wet too. Team Hikerman started this with their local literary caches, of which I'll Seek a Readier Path is one of our favorites. The quality of caches going in around these parts is great. - T of TandS
  17. The bottom one is, of course, a Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator. Do not mess with this device, as it is capable of creating an earth-shattering kaboom! - T of TandS
  18. Hey, about land managers and cache saturation: demonstrable facilities use is the best job security guarantee for anybody who manages a park. If a park manager says 'you can't do that because our park will be overused by foot traffic made up of families and such,' then that park manager needs to lay off the crack. - T of TandS
  19. Here's my take on micros and I think there are others who share it. I like micros because I don't have to haul around a bag of stuff to trade. When I want knick-knacks I go to the Flea Market or Yard Sales. Lots of good trades going on there. Micros cut to the chase. I would love to find a log-only ammo box! Hope this raises somebody's hackles. - T of TandS
  20. We use big big dry bags from outfitters to pack our caravan load of electronics down the river. These are not see-through. Cheap see-through bags the right size are always a good thing to find. Zip-Lock bags are an absolute joke. There is even a little warning on their box, 'Will instantly self destruct if used to store any electronics.' So to the original poster of this topic: Ignore the exceptional level of peanut galerriers. I appreciate the url, the link, the linkier, etc. - T of TandS
  21. Dear posters to this topic. S and I have listed a cache that both incorporates your input and, I hope, lives up to the communities' expectations for a 5/5: Deliverance Time will tell.... As a local cacher likes to say, 'moo hoo haa aah aah!' - T of TandS
  22. One reason that Geocaching is so great is that it can be a low-exertion pastime or it can be a wild adventure involving the most unique combinations of extreme outdoor sports. So it can a fun family outing, a great hookie activity, or a Brain-Intensive Mega Sport. Competition means nothing. I run but I don't race. That doesn't make it a 'non-sport.' 2 cents in the change bucket. - T of TandS
  23. Thanks again for more of what I needed. BTW, confusion is my my status quo. - T of TandS
  24. Cool cool, that's all I needed. Now where was that 60' cliff?... - T of TandS
