Ok another quick question. Do I need the 3 axis on a compass or not ? and why 3 axis ? I use the map to navegate and maybe a compass only IF I need to check on something. ( something ? never did use for anything so far , just a cool factor in my case ) But after people explain better I could look for caches with compass...well maybe... Please explain to me that 3 axis thing... Thanks M.TEX

ok I you found Caches without GPS , that is very good for you ... If you no longer can find because you don't have GPS...so you must buy one to get even better rates. I have been out to search for 10 in one day and I got just 1 or 2....So the problem is that I need to search better , and always read CLUES and take good directions to the cache before you get on the road.... So , you're not alone....Gedt a GPS and enjoy ! M.TEX -
Ok I start to get it... But the Garmin series Colorado , Dakota , and Oregon what would be the best for Caching ? Btw ( I do not want to pay for Maps if I can get them free somewhere...) 3 axis ? sure must be better right? I do not use Compass...I use most the Map to locate the cache with my Gps 60cs ( got used and it's doing very good ) I just want to move up for a better GPS Also how is the Antena problem with this guys ?? what unit model / series have the best reception under thick cover ? It was going to be just asimple question..... M.TEX

Wow !!!!! I found my 25th yesterday and I had found before. I didn't log the book because I couldn't opem the container. ( was a April fools day ) cache and the requirements was to LOG online ONLY if you could get to the log book. I had to delete my first online log and yesterday I went back to get the box opem. I end up been the FTF on a new log book. Thanks to my mistake first time or to the owner that told me delete my log that day.... -

Thanks guys I will go out again to the same spot to see IF I can get better Coords. I looked on google for ONE of the marked Coords from yesterday and looks very close to the hiding spot. I guess If you have been caching and you understande the " hint " that I will give , you are going to be infront of the only one "object" that is possible to hide something. I guess I will try "my way" if doesn't work , well ....I correct later. Thanks, M.TEX

Also , Do they provide Hints ? most of the park and grab will be on spots like : skirts , metal sign , guard rail, trash cans, and things like that....but take your time to look for other "stuff " like rocks , screws , matal boxes on poles etc... that's my 2 cents...
