First of all, Congrats on your future geocacher. Caching with children takes the game to a whole new level. It can turn a 1/1 cache into a 4/4. Secondly, welcome to one of the most cache rich areas of the nation. I don't travel into the city very often so I'm far from an expert. Friends of mine that do commute in say the midtown direct train line is very convenient. http://www.nj.com/njtransit/midtown.html Two towns that I like which are serviced by this train are Montclair and South Orange. Both have nice downtown areas and pleasant suburban settings. Good luck with the interview! -
Outstanding !!!... As usual

I think the 18 in one day is more impressive than the total 300. What am I talking about. They're both outstanding! Way to go Fro.

quote: HartClimbs posted April 28, 2003 06:33 AM Cuckoo's Nest (by the Bee-Gee's) and the nearby Hilltop are located near a very creepy and spooky area. Friends of mine who'd grown up in the area couldn't believe I'd been up there since they all had stories about the site from growing up. It just gave me the heebie jeebies - but it's worth checking out (just park behind the abandoned buildings). The parking area's creepy, but the hilltop (especially near the watertower) has this abandoned 'Andromeda Strain' feeling (for anyone who's seen the old movie). I was just thumbing through the latest issue (WNJ#20)and found something to add to the creepiness of this cache. It seems that a Verona couple was hiking in the area last August and stumbled upon a human skull. Former patient or recent murder victim? You decide. Needless to say I had to update my cache page with a picture of the skull.

Congrats Mopar! Well Done.

Thanks for all of the kind words but, as others have said, it's the folks that hide them that deserve all of the praise. Just think, if we didn't use a base 10 numbering system, all of these milestones would be meaningless.

Congratulations Azog Little did I know when I bumped into you the other day that you had just bagged #100. I enjoyed meeting you and crossing paths with you over the last year or so. Maybe someday we'll find out what our crowbar keys are for. Happy Easter
