Same issue here. The GS servers do not have enough resource to update the "recently viewed caches list", they all need to process the "31 Days of Geocaching souvenirs" first...

If you want the new cachepage layout: change URL to http://www.geocachin...eocache/GCxxxxx (change GCxxxxx into the correct GC-code)

I do not have or can not repro the issue. The GC map works fine for me, i'm using IE8. What browser are you using? Check if automatic translation is disabled in your browser. How to enable or disable the translation bar in Chrome: 1) Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar. 2) Select Settings. 3) Click Show advanced settings. 4) In the "Languages" section, use the "Offer to translate pages that aren't in a language I read" checkbox to adjust this feature. Other suggestions: 1) re-install or upgrade Java to latest version 2) update your display driver to latest version

Today i did a "refresh cache data" of 350 caches without any errors/retries and it took about 3 minutes. It seems the API performance is back under control. Keep it that way! Thx GS. What i wonder is GSAK the only app suffering from this API-problem or are all API-apps impacted?

I do not see any improvements. Contrary, getting available download balance needs retries now... Fetching balances... ... no response after 120 seconds Previous request ended in error, now doing a retry.... 1/10 Retry delay started: 120/120

Not for Groundspeak, I have the impression they ignore GSAK users...

Not this time...After 13 years, communication at GS is still a "steep learning curve".

Problem solved. It was an issue with file association settings for the PNG file type and IE8. link link
