  1. FYI:

Today, the API response is fast lightning again.

All api calls were successful, no more "no response" messages when doing GSAK/Refresh cache data and an avg per api call of 14s

    Thx API team!

  2. On the statisitcs page I think it would be good to have 'highest' cache too, not sure a lowest cache would work though.

    An alternative solution:

Copy and paste the below HTML into Geocaching.com Edit Profile.

    <a href="http://project-gc.co...ickk%20%26%20CM" target="_blank"><img src="http://project-gc.co...ickk%20%26%20CM" width="750" /></a>

    Your Highest elevation: Lagginhorn

Your Lowest elevation: PCH: Gate House

Your Average elevation of all finds: 132.1 m

Also on the grid of D/T caches, it would be great if you could click on the number of a particular D/T combination and bring up the list of caches of that rating.

You are missing 20 D/T combos... link

  3. Loading images from the gallery and avatars on cachepage is very slow.

Some did not load at all and ended with a red cross.

Clicking on an image from a log or image gallery gives the following error frequently: "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later."

    Is the image server overloaded?

  4. What calls are you making and via what means (i.e. what app, etc.)? I'm in the midst of a status check on a large database in GSAK and receiving no such errors.

The "Refresh cache data" function in GSAK with enabled filter of 250 caches.

It seems to be an intermittent problem at certain times of the day.

Thx for forwarding this isue to the API team.

  5. Today:

0% of the api calls responded after the first time

30% of the api calls responded after the second try

70% of the api calls responded after the third try

    Under normal circumstances:

you should have 10 api calls and takes 180s, now you need 27 api calls and takes 448s => efficiency: 35%

Could someone at GS please have a look and fix it.

  6. Same issue for GC41QJY

Yestarday: "latest Found-it date" on cachelisting was 06/aug == "Date Last Found" on list my owned caches was 06/aug => OK

Today: "latest Found-it date" on cachelisting is 06/aug =/= "Date Last Found" on list my owned caches is now 03/aug ... => NOK (due to a recently-submitted Found-it log of 03/aug)

  7. 2) I second HoustonControl's issue - Recently Viewed Caches listing is not updating on any browser I use either.

    3) For the first day or two, there was a nice display right at the top on the right that had a big yellow smiley face if the cache listing had been found, or a big blue frowny face if it had been DNF'ed. I thought that was kinda cool, so of course it went away.

    p.s. What squirrel?

A 2) This issue will be fixed in today's site update. link

A 3) The new "Log your visit" display is still in preview/test mode. link

The squirrel is sitting at the bottom of your screen...

  8. No improvement...
