I received a reply but enabling compatibilty view does not solve the issue ...

    Hello danny

    - Thank you for contacting us about Wherigo.

We have identified compatibility issues between Internet Explorer and Wherigo.com and Geocaching.com. We're working to address these issues, but in the meantime you can take some steps to ensure you have the optimal view of our site through IE.

    1. Go to your Tools menu
    2. Click "Compatibility View Settings" and insert Wherigo.com and/or Geocaching.com under "Add this Website"
    3. Click "Add"
    4. Click "Close"

Please also clear your browser cache and cookies. Alternatively, you canaccess the website through a different browser.

For more information, please check out the Wherigo forums. These forums are monitored and can usually provide you with the best support.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

  2. Hier is de OPLOSSING ...

Door geocaching.com als een trusted website te definiëren in IE11 blijft de "Send to GPS" werken.

    Hoe:

    1. Zorg ervoor dat je de laatste versie van Garmin Communicator Plugin geïnstalleerd hebt

    2. Open IE11 ( Start => All apps => Windows Accessories => Internet Explorer ) in Windows 10

    3. Tools => Internet options => Security tab => Trusted sites ( groen vinkje ) => Sites

    4. Klik en schakel "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" check box UIT

    5. Voeg www.geocaching.com toe als een trusted site

    6. Close => OK => herstart de browser

  3. All files should now be available for download.

    This is not the case, I can still not download c375f1db-3d52-4157-b982-1f33a1eac96a.zip (Foundinthelast7days; 2015-05-21 04:33:00; 718560 B; 731 records; 6 days left)

EDIT 12:22 PM: download c375f1db-3d52-4157-b982-1f33a1eac96a.zip is OK now.

  4. Vanop de geocachepagina kan je de geocache downloaden naar je GPS

    Hoe?

    1) ga naar de geocachepagina

    2) klik op "Send to My GPS" (juist boven "Geocache Description")

  5. The revision to the header is good and has addressed half the problem, so thanks for that.

As so many others point out, the HTML format is still a problem. It seems OK for desktop use but surely quite a few people are now starting to use smartphones as their main communication device, and clearly this new e-mail format is not designed for a 4-inch screen.

Surely if Groundspeak want to be open about this and don't want to revert to the more convenient format then it falls to them to provide an explanation of their reasoning in making this change without consultation. If they don't want to be open about it, well it's their call but I'd suggest that a hobby site owner should be striving to be open and honest at all times.

    +1

  6. When writing this post i have issues with the API in GSAK.

Impossible to fetch my api limits, membership type or "refresh cache data":

  7. I encountered some intermittent API timeouts and API is sometimes extreem slow when doing a "refresh cache data" in GSAK.

One API call took about +- 30 sec (normally 5 to 10 sec)

    Please have a look.

  8. I'm having the same problem still. From the map, I get the message that the Garmin Communicator is not installed. I'm working with the latest version and it seems to work fine from the cache listing. I've deleted and reinstalled the communicator, and am working with Windows 8.1 and IE 11.0.8.

I've attempted everything suggested above and gotten no joy. Anyone else have an idea or still having the same issue?

    Thanks,

Try toggling Compatibility Mode in IE.
