  1. OK, I think I'm close. I have gone to that cache folder, but there isn't anything named index.htm. I tried it with the one called index, but no transfer with a hotsync.
  2. Before I got GSAK, I got the cache descriptions, hints, etc into plucker via GPX spinner. Is there an easier way using GSAK? I have tried the export HTML files, and it said it generated them, but how to get them into the PDA? If possible, step by step instructions would be great as I am very technically challenged. Thanks
  3. I've asked this question on the new tag thread, but got no response. If I order travel bug tags now, which design do I get, the old or the new? Does anyone know? Thanks

    New Tb Design

It's been asked before, but I can't find an answer. Any idea when the new design will be available for purchase? If I place an order now, which tag do I get?
  5. Thanks so much!! I finally got it to work both ways,(cachemate and plucker) hopefully I'll be able to remember how I did it.
  6. I know this is operator error, but in GSAK,I can't get HTML files to transfer to my palm. They generate, but then I don't know how to transfer them. I do have plucker. I then tried to export PDB file to cachemate, (of course, I have no idea what a PDB file is) and an error that I can't create a file there, that folder does not exist comes up. How do I figure out what to call the files to find them again? I've checked the tutorials from cachemate and GSAK, but I think this is too basic to be answered there. Thanks
  7. Thanks Night Pilot, it's so sad to be on the absolutely flat portion of the learning curve. OK, I've gotten GSAK and have sent the waypoints to my GPSr, but can't get the pages to my palm via plucker. I think the problem is in choosing the file when I try to configure the new channel. I've picked a few that seem likely, but none have worked so far. I'll probably go ahead and try cachemate ( I hope it's easy) but since I already had a small measure of success with plucker I thought I'd try it first. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
  8. I agree, the directions are foolproof! I now have the pages on my palm and I was wondering what advantages there would be to using cachemate and/or gsak, and would I use them instead of doing it this way,( with spinner and plucker, )or in addition?
  9. THANK YOU!! I was hoping it would be easy.
  10. I suppose I'm missing something simple, but I just got the premium membership to download pocket queries, and can't figure out how. I did check the paperless cache threads, but they assume you already have the PQ. Thanks
  11. Thanks for the reply, now it might be easier to convince myself to wait and put the $120+ I would have spent on the mapping software towards the purchase of the IQUE.
  12. Until I get cityselect, since the maps in the Trip and waypoint manager CD that came with my 60CS look more detailed than the basemap in the unit, I'd like to send them there. I've used the maptool to select a map, but it doesn't ever show up as selected. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I download my waypoints from easygps, do I need to get them into mapsource, and if so how? Thanks in advance. I've gotten so much great info from this forum.
  13. Thanks, I would never have gotten that from their product explanations. Just to be sure I understand, autorouting is something you would have to do before you download the maps, not after the fact.
  14. Lords of swords- I went the other way, got the 60CS first, but covet the IQUE, especially the on the fly routing option. I haven't gotten the detailed street maps yet, as I'm still thinking about the IQUE,and don't want to buy the mapping software, only to have it come with the IQUE. Did you have any problems putting what came with the IQUE in the CS and how much better is it using the IQUE for road navigation than the CS?
  15. I have the 60CS and need to get the detailed street maps. Any opinions on city select VS. metro guide?
