  1. wow i wish it would be 84 here in Florida! I would have no problem wearing pants. I have seen the day where i was wearing pants and it was 96 outside. The heat dosent affected our caching here but once in a while if it's really humid it does.
  2. this guy needs to quit being such a jerk and let Team Desert Eagle do what they want. Just beacuse they have a lot of FTF's dosent mean hes taking awayfrom the game. I would of never thought somebody would be that bad about something so small.
  3. does your light have a red bulb or a red lense filter on it? It should help at night so it wont put off so much light.
  4. if now one sees it then nobody really knows who did it....but dont go blaming other cachers that go to that area if he says he didnt do it then you cant blame him if you dont go to that certain area.
  5. i over spoke it only was only about 20 caches in 5 miles but thats still a little too much for that range.
  6. im not quite sure what i would do....could you hang it from a tree or something with fishing line?? just an idea
  7. we had a cacher in our area who put 40 caches in a 5 mile stretch, the most of which are 35mm film canesters laying beside fence posts and other land marks. to say the least we didnt finsh them beacuse we were getting VERY bored. im not too sure anybody talked to him but he did take some out.
  8. Ok my Dad (Lt32) and I made a cash out of a 5 gallon water jug and camoed it up and put about 60 little film canisters in it and only ONE had the log in it, and you could only get ONE OUT AT A TIME!!!! Being the person who helped make this i pitty anyone who finds the cash. Talk about frustrating. LOL!!! Heres the Link to the Cash Log http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...4c-bafa22e4c2b1
  9. I am a Lt. for the Polk Co. (Fl.) Fire Dept. and a member of our newly formed USAR team to go along with our HAZ-MAT team. Recently, I have been tasked with putting together the proposal for a wilderness SAR team. We will probably start on the wilderness team after the first of the new year.
  10. My dad LT32 works for (Polk County Fire Dpt) and he was told when going into brush fires to watch out. Pot growers will make a device to where it will fire a 12 ga. shotgun shell into your foot when you step on it. BEWARE!!!!
