[EarthCache Masters - Suspension till March 2009]

Thanks for everyone's understanding. For those who do not know, there is only two of us who approve all EarthCaches (reading every submission, checking permissions, working with developers etc) and administer the EarthCache Masters program (and that includes putting hundreds of pins into envelops and shipping them around the world). We do not do this full time....we have other programs and projects and February was a HUGE crunch time for us. We needed a little breathing space to meet some deadlines.

 

Things are now back to normal and we will get pins out to all those who have submitted them over the last few days.

 

Thanks again for all your support...its what makes EarthCaching fun.

 

Just wanted to say "Thanksabunch" for all the hard work you guys do. It must be a lot of work involved but we all appreciate it immensely.

What's your lowest price on this GPSr?? Prestige Camera has a new unit for $244 including shipping and comes with Trip & Waypoint. 2 gig card around $12/14 and DVD around $75. That's a total of around $335. Right price may be interested??

Woke up this morning and all is well. Can now download the waypoints to GPS. Thanx Groundspeak.

[Do I need two GPS units?]

We have used our Nuvi 350 for getting us close and then get out of the vehicle with our Vista Cx and are now closing in our 1000 find. We think it works great. Just our opinion though!!

This morning I was downloading waypoints to my Vista Cx with no problems. This afternoon the site was down for maintenance. They made some changes to cache pages, which I like, but now I can't load the waypoints to my GPS. I says that it has located the GPS, but nothing happens. Anyone having same problem??

And here I was just getting close with enough $$ for the Colorado. Will just save a little more for the Oregon. I have an Itouch and it works great. Hope this one works as well.

Our's is 4397.3 miles W. Loved it. Kauai, HI But what do you consider Home? We live full time in our RV and travel alot. Always cache in each area. Spend most of our time in Traverse City, MI so for now, consider it home.
