  1. Tomorrow morning at 10 am there will be one here available.
  2. Mr H must love me too Miss Redfrock!!! The second he saw a white jeep had been put out on Dartmoor this evening, he nearly tripped out the front door to get a head start!!!! He met up with Bud Lightbeer and their night caching adventure began. A call at 9.35pm to let me know they had just found it was reassuring!!!! Well done boys.. see Mr H about 12 ish!!!!
  3. Ahh, that's so sweet! There again, I'd probably do the same for my wife (now hurry up and release that jeep on Dartmoor Spannerman!)
  4. When we found New Years Beach Party the previous entry was from one of the crew of the Brixham RNLI. He put that he came across the cache whilst out shooting rabbits!
  5. Means everything to me! I bought one from Trago too (£20), and 100 A4 pockets for a fiver at the same time. Didn't they leave one plugged in a few months ago?
  6. If it's the same waterproof paper that's used in the official geocaching logbooks then it may be worth providing a biro/pencil too as a lot of ink pens don't write well in them.
  7. Don't know what you're on about!!! That's a great picture. I have got to ask. What was the story behind this picture? As Bud Lightbeer rightly said, it was taken during Willdebeasts fantastic Underworld Series'. Elliott (in the photo) made it all the way to the cache which was extremely demanding both physically and mentally! The photo was taken after about an hour of crawling and squeezing through the very narrow caves of the bonus cache (notice he even had to take his hat off to get through!). Certainly needed a torch, and of course...spare batteries! We turned our torches off at the cache location for a laugh and it was darker than dark! If the torches had ran out without spare batteries I think our days would have been up!!!
  8. Well said! That's exactly what caching's all about!
  9. That's nothing...check out this guy's stats!!!
  10. All I'll say is that the number assigning is obviously alphabetical and the asterix in B*100 is a multiplication. As for the co-ords of the logo, you have to find that out yourself. It's not easy and you'll have to spend a great deal of time looking on online maps/google earth etc. but it can be done! I don't want to give anything away on the forums but the above should help as the translation is a little ambiguous (it took me hours!).
  11. Just got back in from the Exmouth fireworks display and as usual it was an absolutely fantastic show. In fact, better than ever this year as the dog didn't leave us the usual unwanted presents when we returned!
  12. It gets even harder once you've found the second sign! I agree that the maths doesn't make a great deal of sense. It should really state assign the alphabetical number to the letter and add this to the bearing. Then add 72. Hope this helps & good luck!
  13. All completed and sent. Great news that they're now trackable & hopefully should get them in time for xmas! Thanks for the hard work to all of those involved. Can't wait!
  14. Well done Will on your 200th find! and great to see you used our cache that we adopted from the Hornet! Also, thanks for setting such super caches especially The Underworld Series which are ace!
  15. This is from a log of a cache that we find hard to forget! Took Rubber & Toy Whale. Left Toy Lorry, Pink Brush, Broken Glass, Bits of Number Plate, Flakes of Paint, Fragments of Bumper and a large dent in the boot! Reversing into trees is not something we'd like to make a habit of, it was very expensive!
  16. Total agreement - enough's been said. (I see Alex got the last word in though )
  17. Well done Terry!!! (Looking forward to meeting Jester. He looks soooo cute!)
  18. Within the last month or so we managed to get 13 different & new icons - all from sitting in front of the computer! How easy was that?! I know it's only a game and a personal thing but I've just decided to delete all of our logs for these and it feels great!!! Once again, the hunger for going back out and finding them for real has instantly returned. I remember the excitement (I know it's sad!) of finding our first geocoin, and the race to get to the cache with a yellow jeep in before anyone else, but that drive had recently gone. Not that we've got anything against virtual coins etc. (we own one ourselves!), but I thought I'd just share our thoughts now that we've been there and done it. For us personally, the ease of obtaining virtual icons (before finding them for real) had spoilt the fun and we missed that sense of achievement of finding them for real a lot. Does anyone else feel this way? And might it be an idea to make the virtual versions of icons different. For example semi-transparent that become solid when found for real?
