  1. Just had a look through and there have been several logs for locationless ones today. Maybe TPTB have changed their minds after all!
  2. Well done Bud & Nettie on your 200th find whilst in Scotland for New Year And Happy Hogmanay!
  3. With only hours to go before we lose one of the diverse varieties of geocaching, has anyone made any last minute attempts to bag a locationless or two? We logged a couple the other day for old times sake before they all disappear, and we will miss that added little bonus. From us, goodbye locationless caches.
  4. The following example demonstrates an error that causes a ArgumentException exception to be thrown by the system. using System; public class MyClass {} public class ArgExceptionExample { public static void Main() { MyClass my = new MyClass(); string s = "sometext"; try { int i = s.CompareTo(my); } catch (ArgumentException e) { Console.WriteLine("Error: {0}",e); } } } The output is Error: System.ArgumentException: Object must be of type String. at System.String.CompareTo(Object value) at ArgExceptionExample.Main() Guess that leave you even more confused Cheers for clearing that up! All sorted now
  5. This has just happened to us and it won't even let us visit the log to delete it! It just comes up with a 'SystemArgument Exception' whatever that is?
  6. We found out about geocaching after getting fed up with Dartmoor Letterbox DNFs! Already owning a GPS, we googled to see if there were any letterboxes with co-ordinates posted on the internet and voila! I remember the moment well...typed in our postcode and within half an hour we'd found our first cache. Never looked back since!
  7. Well done Jim (and of course TA too)!!! Thanks also for setting so many great caches Having a good Xmas Stuey!? Edit: just noticed you've edited it (We're aslo havign a good Chritsmas!)
  8. There's an Iowa and a Michigan geocoin about to be released in your neck of the woods (Leicester) very soon by mum & dad (Team av-8) ... It ain't gonna be easy!

  11. Just posted an 800 congrats thread for Davy Boy and since noticed that our good friends the Ollies have also just topped 800 too! Well done!!!
  12. Well done Davy Boy on breaking through the 800 barrier! It was great being there during our epic day of 45 Oxford-based caches (the feet are still aching!)
  13. Remember Barings Bank!... Skate, Davyboy, Nick Leeson Skate, Davyboy, The Hancock Clan
  14. Have managed to get one for our son for Christmas. Looks like we will have to keep it under lock and key (With Mr H's Geocaching gadget obesession!!!)
  15. Well done Stuey! A great achievement, and thanks for all of your caches too!
  16. Funny that, I bought a cheap 'Toshiba' 1gb SD card and it causes the PDA to freeze a lot!
  17. We would love to come along to the event and camp the weekend.
  18. Nooo thats Tamar Bridges - on the Devon Side.. mine is The Right Side of the Tamar on the Saltash side... Though Spannermans rates only slightly higher... Doh! (I remember now-yours is the one that Stuey couldn't find! ) Anyway, back on topic... I think we've been lucky with the micros that we've done as I'd quite happily say that a lot of our favourite caches have been of the smaller variety.
