  1. Love the website. Makes Waymarking substatisly easier when traveling. I have used it in several states now and while traveling in Canada, Germany, the Czech Republic and Austrailia. Worked perfectly in each. Now I need more batery life to handle all the Waymarking and caching during the day.

My only request would be if if ran faster, but I'm guessing a lot of the speed issue is related to Ground Speak's servers and parsing the data.

Thanks for all the work and the website. Run26.2.2

  2. Since I made the 3,000+ list, I thought I would chime in.

I try to locate waymarks when traveling to get me out of the hotel and out on an adventure, wether in Texas or anywhere else. I'd have many more post if it was easier to do with an iPhone or GPSr. It is impossible to keep up with the find requirements when traveling. An app or an easier way to download waymark data would go a long way to making visits eazier to post. Twenty five downloads is a waste of time.

It such a pain to match up my pictures with the WMs after returning home of to find out I didn't get a picture of that one. I generally carry my GPSr and create a track of my meanderings so I can remember the WMs I visited and then log them from the house.

As to local WMs, I originally visited all I could in the greater Houston area and have been waiting for enough new ones to pop up to make it worth the time to venture out.

I recently found a website that is suppose to use you're iPhones location, skim WM data and let you post a visit with a photo to a WM while out on the street. I'm looking forward to giving it a try soon.

I gave up posting WMs because I ran into a couple of jerks who where reviewers and decided it wasn't worth it. So I just find them now.

  3. Here's another one. I just received notice on a TB that's traveling with a cacher in Canada. He's been carrying it for over a month. However four other cachers recently discovered it as "found on an old list." Each of them has TB finds 4x their cache finds.

I guess the new sport is trolling the net for TB codes to run up your TB count.

  4. I have something like this happening. someone picked up a geocoin of mine and is going cross country, no biggie when I saw TONS of visited logs. But then I noticed some are 400+ miles away from each other in the same day.. ok so maybe they logged the visits a few days later? THEN I saw some of the logs take place in April...I did not place the coin out until June.

IngoKnito just happened to find four of my long lost TBs. To much of a coincidence. How did someone who lives in Germany discover four bugs that have been missing for years, that never left the States and all in one day. We need to sick him on locating all the missing bugs out there. He must know something we don't. What a fraud.
