We are looking to purchase a Auto Navigation System, prefer Garmin if possible, are their any that you can load geocaches directly into them or will i have to use the navigation system for the roads and still have the gps next to it for the arrrow pointing the way?

we archived one of our caches as we had a finder notify us thru private email that there was a bong hidden near one of our caches, we couldnt go and check on it for a few days, that weekend we went to the site, found the item, didnt move it went to the local police station and had to explain the whole geocaching thing, (the officer owns a GPS and thought he would check out the website) we hiked out the the area in the city park, and the officer conficated the contraband. Being a EMT in wisconsin, you can loose your (medical) license for having any drug convictions. (even having a used bong is a possession charge). After talking with the officer on the way to the cache and back find out in Michigan where the cache was placed, you can legally have a bong or pipe even with residue in it and It is completly legal as long as you don't hold any of the pot too.
Funny how different states laws are.

think about it this way, at least you know your travel bug is still actually in a cache and not stolen by sombody, We think the discover is a good feature, If we cannot help a bug to its destination, we will discover it and let the owner know it is still safe and sound in the cache, We do allot of traveling to go geocaching since the closest cache to our house that we havent found (or doesnt need a big boat) is roughly 40 miles away, allot of the time we are caching 100+ miles from our home and wouldnt want to take a bug that far away from its goal.

Both of us are associated with FF/EMS. Im a Engineer for our local volunteer Fire Dept. and an EMT for the local Ambulance Service. My Wife is on the Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary.

Why are our pocket queries days late???? We have 2 queries delivered daily and it seams like Thurs and Friday will not show up until Sat or Sunday, the days that we really need them to load up for the weekend and we are loading stuff from Wednesday what is up with this
