I've done a lot a caching with my son (aged 6) geo_kev
he has 150 finds and 1 hide at the mo
I have found that a lot of caches in the south cache with younger people and the ones that dont have no probs having them Tag along

HERE'S the records stats page for the UK
I think this summer the record will be beaten a few times there are lots of new caches around
Simon from siloans and I have talked about getting it to about 60
on a bike and in 12/13 hours you can get about 50
then a drive to oxford you can easly get 15
BTW do ppl know if a UK cacher breaks the record outside of teh UK does it count??

first time I have realy looked at the Waymarking site
Waymarking 50Km from my house 4 sites
geocaching 50km from my house 557 caches
me thinks is it not catching on all that well
not somewhere I will be spending much time

I would think i would count as a townie but planning is the only way
using your GPSr to find caches is one thing but following an arrow blindly into countryside you do not know is another
compass and Map are a must too (and the ablity to use them) - I (being a sado) always have a spare (geko101) in my bag if all goes T*ts up
-
I did my 100th a year and a week ago at Royal Observatory Greenwich Cache (GCK7HH)
but I'm sure you would have done that one

just checked and you have not

I have a GPS12 that I will bring with me when I am caching in a wood
I find it will hold a signal much better under cover
