I recently attended an Geocampout event held in Orlando Florida with my daughter. It was excellant event with many door prizes and one grand prize provided by Chris Shumaker of Team Shuey, a camelbak M.U.L.E. 1. YES (of course my second find is done blindfolded)
2. YES (only if I've read enough logs to feel like I've already been there)
3. NO (If I can't find it I do my best to belittle the cache hider with multiple snide remarks)
4.YES (GPSr are far too accurate your gonna need to work for my caches)
5.YES ( I nag the cache owner until he goes and checks on his cache and I wait close to his home and follow him to the cache)

Well I think this ranks as my funniest attempt at finding a cache. Anyone who has ever tried to fit just one more cache in has probably had a experience where you are fumbling around in the dark. Well of course I have no flashlight and am REALLY determined to find this cache so feeling like McGyver I pull out my trusty Sony S75 digital camera with long life battery and proceed to use the infrared focusing mechinism to light the areas I intend to find the cache. This works well if you fake out the camera into thinking your not really going to take a picture but if you hold it a hair too long BOOM flash (night vision is now gone) but hey! I now have a picture of the lit area... hmm this may work.... after about 45 minutes of flashing... (probably will be reports of aliens in the march in New Smyrna) I have to admit defeat... I will be back ... with a bigger flash.... or maybe even daylight.

Develop a "most sought after" personal item to leave at caches in each state. Or a personalized item for the cache you leave it in. If you have a digital camera upload some pictures at the site for others to see.

If I had actual maps of the area. If someone was so inclined I am trying to figure out the location of two zip codes. 32174 and 32176. I would like to visit these locations and consider the possibility for a cache. This is exactly the opposite of how I normally place a cache....(Normally find suitable location then place cache, Not travel to location cache in hand to see if location is suitable). Was thinking if the location is where I think it is... It would make a great travel bug depot close to I-95
