  1. On TB page, UNDER the View in GE and Users Watching lines is a drop down box, the "mark as missing" is in there.
  2. Bomb squads need practice too. Poorly placed caches turn into "real-world" experience for those guys! More power to everyone!
  3. I've just started bike caching as an excuse to get my lazy butt doing some exercise. So far, I've just dropped the bike near the cache while I search and if a muggle comes along, I'm just "taking a break."
  4. But at what point do we stop? Do we make the dispatchers check the GC, terracaching, and any other cache-type site? What about when the crazies figure out that no one is checking caches for bombs and start putting bombs in caches???
  5. I concur on not understanding what anyone is talking about... Guess I need to make use of that Google button again...
  6. "Closed because of several deaths..." Wah wah wah.... survival of the fittest at its best.
  7. I would hope that GS would not even consider removing caches based on their ability to frighten or scare someone - anyone. How many caches require a good hike (that may be detrimental to an older person)? How many are dangerous to someone who doesn't know what they are doing? There is no requirement to find all the caches, or even to attempt them. At some point, it is incumbent upon the cacher to know his or her limits. Now, a little hint that something snakey might be afoot would be good, but removing cachers that might scare people is silly.
  8. I've had no issues with mine, despite the bad press. I love it, its easy to use, understand and work with. I love that I can use the USB to power it in the Jeep, so I can use the same charger as comes with my phones. I love USB power!
  9. I have a Colorado and despite any issues, I love it. So far, no problems - easy to use and go playing with.
  10. Thanks for the heads up on the game, I downloaded it and played it (and finished it) with no issues. Thanks for the tip.
  11. If you want to remember a cool coin, take a picture! =)
  12. Maybe you should ask the cachers to use more stealth! Quiet cachers attract no dogs.
  13. Its not up to you to worry about their judgment... leave it out and let survival of the fittest do the rest. =)
  14. I never had trouble logging bugs. And as stated above the reason for needing the number is to confirm that you actually have the right bug.
  15. We have one on our Ultimate Cache Vehicle... It has yet to be discovered.
  16. FInd them, and possible eat them perhaps! =)
  17. I go with sea-toe. One guy around here says sit-troe.
  18. I once logged a find twice (because I was logging a TB in), but I didn't like it when my "finds/unique finds" were different - so I changed the dupe log to a note.
  19. Hmmm, I wonder if we can get a Colorado update when the time comes... =)
  20. I think somewhere something does say that a GPS is pert-near required for geocaching... now, thats not to say that every cache requires a GPS, but it seems it would be an important part of cacher gear. I wouldn't give hints, except maybe... "A GPS would be useful."
  21. If its launched now, why would it have to wait til 2013 to help us out? Isn't the world ending in 2012 anyway?
  22. Ahhh, but see just because you can't find it doesn't mean its not there. We once found a cache that had been decimated by construction and the can had been flung into nearby woods. We gathered up what we could, put the cache as close as we safely could to its original hide, left our own log (signed of course), logged it as FOUND and notified the cache owner of the situation. He fixed it and all was well. But, the bottom line is, we DID find the cache even though it wasn't in its proper place - it was just a more extreme form of cache migration!
