Linking with Facebook should have no effect. This all sounds like a cookies issue, whether something we inadvertently changed or something that has affected older cookies on client machines. Have you tried clearing your geocaching.com cookies entirely from your browser?
Yes. I have cleared out all my cookies several times with no effect. This seems to be the standard answer to this annoying problem. Any more suggestions?

When I am on my profile page when I am logged in and click the "map it" link on the search option area the map will default to the coordinates N 0 W 0. I have not changed my home location in a while and this function all ways worked just fine for me, now there are several features that are not working for me all at once. I am also having auto login problems as well. I have cleared all my cookies and it still is not working.

I have the EXACT same problem. I am running an iMac OSX Lion 10.7.4 with Safari 5.1.7. I have never had this problem until I logged off one day to let a friend log on to log some of her caches. Then I can only login up at the top right login window and it never remembers me. I just deleted all of my cookies and that did not help at all. any suggestions?

That fixed it. Thats strange, I changed my home coords not too long ago and all my notifications and PQ that work with home coords are all working fine. I wonder what happened to change my home to 0000...... Oh well. thanks!
