  1. I am glad this has changed back However, was it my imagination?... I received my daily PQ's without fail over the last few weeks, not the hit and miss affair I was getting used to before the renewal requirement! Jon
  2. Anyone taken a golf ball from a cache and actually used it? (and I mean like it is meant to be used!)
  3. I neither hate nor love calling cards... just wish people wouldn't tuck them inside the log pages! Jon
  4. Concur - hate the things falling out of cache logs all over the place!
  5. Should golf balls be banned from being left in caches? I think so... What other things do you regularly find in caches that get up your nose? Jon
  6. 100 still remains our most memorable milestone! 3 figures will remain with you for a LONG.... time. Well done.
  7. We are ALL inncocent... until proven gullty!
  8. A bit slow off the mark here I feel... but WELL DONE David! Jon
  9. Well done Bobby boy! The 'ol Thame Town Teaser made a worthwhile cache to mark this landmark for you. Well done mate! Jon and Lesley
  10. Poor show on their part - makes it sound like you haven't paid their bill - which is obviously not the case! Jon
  11. Definitely... Consdering the cost of a new TB tag, it'll be a worthwhile find! Jon
  12. Thanks for all replies. OK, I have no problem getting geocache locations into TT300, found a POI file with these. However I much rather use the GPS60 for the final hunt. The pain is getting locations of nearest parking co-ords into the TT. Think I am right in saying TT does not accept Long/Lat or OS locator input? Anyone else actually use a TT and the method I use, or is there a better way? Jon
  13. I have noticed on several occasions recently, jumping out of my car, to the familiar sound of broken windscreen glass underfoot... I tend to have a good look around now betore leaving my little chariot parked up at the end of a remote bridleway. I have moved on to park elsewhere a few times before. I now regularly empty the boot, remove the bootlid cover and open the glove box - such a pain but increasingly necessary these days Jon [Or I could leave Mrs.D in the car of course - that'll scare 'em off...]
  14. Heck I just read this thread! How disappointing! What's happened to the that old maxim "smile, the customer is always right" (even if he isn't..)? Civility costs nothing. Customer service is about getting the customer to feel good, certainly not what JI has done here! Jon
  15. Had my TT300 for about a week or so now. If like me you are in no rush to get anywhere it really takes the strain out driving to strange places! Only seriously let me down once so far - took me off the M4 just into Wales and then back on again? Anyway, I agree with others, the TT is not designed to find caches! I do wish however the TT would accept full coords and not just Postcodes or streetnames. Using the 'go to a specific point' on map is a real bind. To navigate to a parking spot for a cache, I currently I pull the streetmap map up, convert to postcode, feed that into TT and then navigate about TT to get the exact spot and then save as a favourite. Very long winded! Given a cache page, with suggested co-ordinates for parking, what methods do others use to program their TT to get you there? Jon
