  1. Wasn't there a greasemonkey add-on to get the OS maps to display? It doesn't appear to work anymore.
  2. Link to the bash page Geoff and I will be at the pub around 1200 hrs and there is no set finish time. In the afternoon people usually set off in groups to find some local caches together, and maybe meet back later. Bring some wellies! Jon
  3. Yes have a look here: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php...;hl=aldermaston Jon
  4. If one popcorn isn't enough now we have two!
  5. I am very pleased with my self-inking stamp ordered from here (it's free...just postage to pay). Some have reported you get flooded with email promos, but I have had no problem. Jon
  6. ... and if you are feeling really lucky; go for some of tjapukai's caches. Now there's a challenge!
  7. Huh? What are jamming trials about and who are jamming? It's late...
  8. Good point Ali There usually seems an exception to the rule edited for typo... it's late!
  9. Hi Paul, Wow... if you started caching with the Snow White series and you are still keen, you are a lost cause already Not the easiest of terrain for the area but an excellent series - just what caching should be all about I have not done many other caches in this area, but the few I have done I have thoroughly enjoyed. I am sure some local cachers can recommend some others to you. Happy caching! Jon
  10. Always take my camera... oh I am so interested in flora, slugs, bridges, fences... peeps seem to ignore you with a camera in hand.
  11. Looks like it's not just out of stock, but discontinued? I stand corrected. 234 in stock?
  12. I guess we lead boring lives this side of the water Greetings from UK. Jon
  13. I usually carry a swiss army knife loose in my rucksack, but rarely use it
  14. I had already considered that before posting... but mine isn't pointless. This is a Geocaching forum, and the objective of my post is to solicit vote of those, whom I suspect are the silent majority, who find some recent posts well off-topic. Popcorn comes to mind. Jon
  15. This thread has become pointless and boring...too many of these recently
  16. I prefer reading congrats threads in the main forum myself. Those I don't know I ignore. Jon Delete me from pointless, trivial thread..
  17. Congratulations to JollyJax at 1600! Heck I can't keep this up Jon
  18. I use 2700 mh rechargeables. Can't afford to use Duracells!!!! Jon
  19. I've only been away for an hour and a half and see this thread is coming on nicely! Shall we have bets as to how long it goes before it's closed. I reckon Sunday 1800 hrs..... flippin' moderators...
  20. Some may know my GPS60 'drowned' a few weeks ago...here. What I though was a scratch on the glass must have been a crack. I called Garmin and they said they would repair if for £40 odd (Fair enough as it's nearly 3 years old). Sent it off Monday and today received a brand spanking new one, apparently 'repaired under warranty'. Top marks to Garmin! Jon
  21. That's what I got now. Using Firefox here, but a few hours ago piccys were automatically displayed under each cache log. Apart from displayiing spolier photos, it looked pretty cool.
