  1. I just upgraded, and I am looking to sell my Garmin eTrex (Yellow) receiver. It is in very good condition. I have had it just over a year and have found over 175 caches with it, in 12 states and in Germany. It comes with a serial data cable. The cable is not the Garmin factory cable, but one made with a pfranc connector. The cable was made by people who make cables for a living, and is at least as good as the one from Garmin. I can send pictures if you are interested. I use Easy GPS to manage and transfer waypoints to and from the receiver using the cable. I have the manual, quickstart guide and the wrist strap as well. This is a great unit for beginners - it's small, easy to use, and at this price, inexpensive. I am asking for $65 for the receiver and cable. Shipping will be $3.95 (Priority). Please contact me through my profile. I will only ship in the US, and cashier's check or Money Order only will be accepted.
  2. I know of at least a few statues of famous and important women. Surely there must be enough to make this interesting.
  3. Digging for the Gold... Only a few people have located this cache of mine, despite there being two others nearby which have many finds. I assume this is because they haven't figured it out. Two of the finders figured it out accidentally, and two others required some additional help.
  4. Due to a drastic cut in funding this coming fiscal year, my job will not be taking me to Draper Labs in Cambridge, MA any more. Because of this, I am looking for someone to adopt my Fort Washington Cache (GCND4V). It is a micro in a very cool little, historic, park. Let me know if you are interested. The container has migrated slightly at the location, and it appears the log is nearly full. I can provide details as to where the cache is located, and a Word document with a log sheet. Thanks!
  5. I agree with the sentiment of not leaving, and having the women call the police right then and there. Of course, when I do these types of caches, I bring my "cover" with me - Pigs #2 & 3! You blend right in with the little ones, and no one seems to bother you.
  6. Almost all of my chaches have had a theme. Last October I started my series of Holiday themed caches. My first was a Hallowwen cache, dragging the cachers through several historical cemeteries. A large group decided to hunt it down Halloween night (~midnight!). I've got most of themajor holidays covered, so I have to start on the lesser ones (Arbor Day, etc). I also have a couple of other non-holiday theme caches, like my Barrel of Monkeys which started off with barrel of monkey key-chains. I state that trade items in theme are appreciated, but not required.
