So here I am visiting with abnduo&spawn, ATC06, and Team_DDNight while making a cache run through VBC and celebrating with Team_DDNight on his #700 Find; when these three start talking about this big event in April. Well, only problem for me is my camp is 90+ miles south of where the event will be held. Not sure if I will be back up this direction during the timeframe of the event. I just want to thank all of the geocoin collectors for their generousity in making this event worthwhile for the troops over here. Again if the stars line up right and I can find administrative reasons to be up here, I will most definitely attend this event. Otherwise I will sit on the sidelines and cheer for those who attended and those who help enrich the event. Thanks again to everyone for their support.
If the stars don't line up, let us know...we'll take good care of you.

Just a thought, is there any way to request specific soldiers....say if I wanted to buy all the coins for all the ones we have lost that were from Maine? Would this be possible?

I'm still looking for a replacement for Mapopolis. Has anyone found anything that is working really well?
I have a separate bluetooth gps that I connect to the pda, and a 60csx.
My mapopolis errors out and locks up, so it's time for it to go.

My heart desires a mystery coin...any one will do.

Sorry it has taken me a few days to get my picture uploaded properly....but here it is!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH CACHE MAINE!!! I love the coin, the sweet little card with the sunshine charm and the unique and most creative little itty bitty log books!!!! LOL where did you ever get them???? I love them too!! Thank you for EVERYTHING!!
Yea! I'm glad you liked your sunshine! Those little books come from the dollhouse/miniature section at the craft store...they make great micro logs!

I noticed that the codes are available via hogcode....so we must be getting close. I can't wait!
-
My sunshine came today and it brought tears.....tears of joy! I am just tickled pink with my coin and I want to say thank you to my person... From the very bottom of my geocoin heart....thank you!

I'm thinking of making the above cities their destination instead of their starting point to make it easier for them to get there.
We'd be happy to start one here in Maine....even if we don't make it to Port Angeles soon, I hope your coin will! Let us know if you need our help, or anything else for that matter. Thinking of you!

BlueMotMot.....We are sorry to hear about this....our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Your plan to release trackables in her "places" is very sweet....I hope they travel far and you enjoy their movements.
My fiance used to live in Port Angeles and we hope that some day, we can make the trek from Maine so he can show me around.

oshndoc
Highland Geofairy
kehunt

TMA
hollora
Mine was in with Hollora's package....if you could just list that separate, that would be great. I'll email you my contact information.

With my missions arriving so slowly, it shows that the packages are getting there (finally)... if albeit slowly.
So for all those still waiting,
Don't give up,
Don't despair.
For you're packages might almost be there!
Okay, you got a out of me with that little post! I hope you are right!

Cache Maine,
ATC06 and I will be meeting this Friday to put together the event page. This came up all of a sudden and we wanted to get things rolling so potential attendees would have time to put it on their schedules in order to get the time off.
I started the event page, but have not submitted it yet. After ATC06 and I meet on Friday, it will be submitted to the reviewers for approval. I will then post the link here for you all to view.
V/R,
Dan

Great! Can't wait!

Okay, this is kinda backwards, but Tsun, I'm in! The coin is already on it's way in the package from Hollora....nothing like shopping her coin collection via email and picture! She takes good care of me when I have to be at work!
ATC06...we are going to start planning now for your visit to New England! We can't wait!
We will be watching and waiting for pictures of your event...I looked for a link on the geocaching event calendar, but didn't see it... Has the event been published yet?

I would love to have an earth turtle. They are so special.

Here's my best caching bud, Hollora aka Happy Feet, in reach of a frozen in cache over the bank at the Red Beach in Robbinston, Maine. Granted, from afar it looks like something very different, but she held on and made the find.
True caching spirit right here!

My birthday package arrived yesterday, but PSU Fan made me wait until today (my actual birthday) to open the gift. Inside was a 2007 Landsharkz, which will go nicely in the book next to the Nurse Shark picture that we saw last November. Also was the Chargeman & Nordjas "Loon" Geocoin....This one was THE one on the wish list that I made PSU Fan put on their. Growing up I spent summers in New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesaukee listening to the Loons .... Very nice. There was also some nice swag to put on my Caching Bag ... A Landsharkz Geopin and a Cache Maine made "Swag" Pin. Thank you Cache Maine for the nice gift today and the extra package of the Cache Maine Pathtag .... I love Pirates!!!!
Thank you again,Cache Maine, for making the start of my Birthday a Great One!!!!
You welcome, glad I picked some good ones for you! Happy Birthday to you!

We updated the list of the latest sponsors tonight....and looking to add a few more familiar icons and names to the list.
Here's the event page.

Who doesnt love diamonds??? These are just lake County Diamonds, but they do etch glass! They are a Silica rather than a carbon, but water clear. I gathered them myself...it helps to add water to enhance the display.
Glad you liked your Mission ...Sorry it got to you a few days late!
Was the smurf still holding the Geotoids??? ...It fit into his hands perfectly!
No, he wasn't....looks like he got bounced around a little! Thanks again!
-
Would love to have one of the new color lackey coins.

What a great birthday box! Thanks so much to BigD! I loved all my treasures....how did you know that I love diamonds?!?!?! Thanks for everything! Love the penny, and the coins.....and the keyring...and everything!
Anyone interested in helping me?
