  1. I agree with TerryDad2. These do look great. Of course, how can one disagree with anything TerryDad2 says about anything related to EarthCaching.

    So, I'm in as well.

Do we have any details yet on anything (besides a box) that will make the box set really stand out?

  2. Hey Moop! You know, I did like 100 caches between the Maumee River and the Detroit River (including Grosse Ile, and somehow missed everyone of yours. I'll get back by there later this year or next and make it a point to knock one out.

Ok, so not edible. How about one perched on a couch watching some MNF on the tube? Maybe something along the theme of dont' be a couch potato be a cache potato?

That being said with two MNF games starting in an hour-and-a-half, the only smiley I'll be registering tonight will be this one right here.

  3. When I searched for earth caches in Texas on the earthcache.org site, I found only one.

    Is there only one?

There are about 50 EarchCaches in Texas.

The search function on the EarthCache website is at best questionable, at least when it comes to searching within a state.

My suggestion is to click on the EarthCache Listings link. Once there, click on the excel export button at the top of the records grid. Open in Excel and sort by state. Scroll down to Texas.

If excel is not available, once you get to the EarthCache Listings, click on the State/Prov button twice. The top listing should now be in the Czech Republic. If so, you are on the right path. Click the Records per Page dropdown to 200. Click the blue arrow just below the Records Per Page (the arrow with no bar) three or maybe four times. This should show you the listings for Texas.

    Hope that helps.

  4. I think that would be phenomenal. As much as I have snooped around, though, I don’t think that feature exists. I also can’t figure out a convenient way to export the data out o the “view map” feature to even hodgepodge (tech term you know) one together in another program. Love the idea, though.
