[help with COBRA GPS 1000 DLX]

I am brand new to this and need some help. I got a great deal on a COBRA GPS 1000 DLX and will be using it. My question is how do I use this for Geocaching? And have any of you used this? I have never used a Gps before and looking for some insight. Any help would be great.

Anyone have some tips for getting started in the Cincinnati ohio area. I am brand new and have never used a Gps before. Wanting to get in Geocaching with my Children. Any tips and pointers would be welcome.

[need help with COBRA GPS 1000 DLX]

I have not gotten it yet it is on iys way. It did come withe the manual. Just wanted to know if anyone had used one before. this will be the first time using a gps. not sure how it works to tell the truth. I didn't know if it does hikes and streets or how it works.

Did the Cobra come with an owners manual? It's not a particularly common brand so, not sure how much other help is available. I do think you are going to have to key in Geocaching coordinates into the unit manually, but otherwise it should suffice to get you started. have fun!
