  1. I'm not new to this handheld thing that I use to search for little boxes that has toys in it but I'm new to this forum. When I first saw "GPSr" I was puzzled. I was wondering if there was a new system and I was behind the times.

OP thanks for asking your question.

  2. I actually just went paperless and figured this out yesterday! When you are looking at the screen with a list of the caches, select "Cachemate" in the upper left. Then select "Options" then "List Options" (fourth one down). Under extra information, you can select "waypoint" or "Dif/Ter". I would do "Dif/Ter". Then check "Display waypoint by name" and "When Sorted by waypoint". This will give you the Cache Name when sorted by "Name" and the waypoint name when sorted by "waypoint". You can play around with those options to get something you like. Also, Im not sure how it happened, but when I used GSAK to put the coords into my GPSr, they went is as a cache name, not the GC ID.

That's it!!! Thanks guys for all you help.

admo1972, I just fiqure this out. I put "%code %name" in the Cachemate name box and it displays both name and ID on the list. Thanks

  3. I’m not new to Geocaching but I just started going paperless. I got everything working great but had a question for those that use Cachemate. I got the caches loaded in my GPS and the Query loaded in my Palm (by the way this is way cool). On the main page in Cachemate it shows the cache name but not the waypoint ID. Is there a way to change that so it shows the ID like it is listed on my GPS? I selected the “Sort by: Wpt” but it still shows most of the cache names and some of the ID's. I could print the page from GSAK for reference but that defeats the purpose of paperless. Thank you in advance.

    I’m using GSAK and Cachemate.
