  1. I just checked and the closest WJTB to my location is 75 miles away!
  2. I just returned from a 16 cache trip. Not a single WJTB. Aaargh!
  3. No. I was in Brazil on a work assignment. No Jeep TB's there.
  4. Have yet to see any of the new TB's in my area. What gives?
  5. I could have used this vest yesterday. There I am, in a park with lots of people around, and I am staring at a tree! These guys walked by me twice and I'm still looking at the tree! I didn't find the cache, mostly because I was freaking myself out with all these people around, not because anybody said anything. I just couldn't search thoroughly and still look like I wasn't completely out of my mind.
  6. Thanks on behalf of that...er....other guy.
  7. Someone please instruct this person on how to publish pictures in forum replies. Not me, mind you.
  8. I wear my pink pajamas in the summer when it's hot And I wear my woolen undies in the winter when it's not And sometimes in the springtime and sometimes in the fall I go out geocaching with nothin on at all. (with apologies to my old boy scout troop)
  9. Yeah, seriously, I agree completely that making rules will not help. This is a largely self-regulated game. There is a guy in Colorado that stole 156 travel bugs. My TB's are mostly in the hands of people who, for whatever reason, don't plan to place them again. I have found numerous caches with nothing but junk in them. Somebody put food in one of my caches and it was torn apart by coyotes. Making rules won't matter and I would not propose any.
  10. Thanks for peeing on my Wheaties.
  11. I'll add my congrats to the others. Jeez, do you have time to do anything else? That is a fantastic number.
  12. Regarding the ISQ series, while it is interesting to read the histories and there is certainly work involved in writing them up, I print out only the cover sheet and any sheet with a hint on it to take with me. This cuts down on the paperwork.
  13. I'm on the board. Wooptie freakin do!
  14. There are four cachers out there I would happily strangle.
  15. Unit sounds good. Yeah, I'll call my GPSr "unit".
  16. Food. Thanks to that deposit, one of my caches was savaged by wild animals.
  17. You can't. It's not on the Internet, and it's too long to post here. Anyway, it's only available to members of the Supreme High Council of the Inner Circle of GEO-ISQ. I can tell you it's a lambskin scroll hermetically sealed in a mayonaise jar on Funk & Wagnell's porch. The security level is DEF-CON 2 --Top Secret Cryto Logic --For Eyes Only. However, having said that, we have you at #172 with six finds. If that's innacurate let us know, and we'll audit your account and send any corrections to the ISQ Grand Inspector General for review... Uh, thanks. I want to let you know of my ambitious plans to move up the list.....maybe to #150! Yes, alert the media as I plan to find three or (gasp) possibly 4 more of these this coming weekend. I can hardly contain myself.
  18. The best suggestion I can come up with is--go find some caches. After you have found several dozen, you will have seen a few good ideas and they will give you something you can modify and execute on your own. I've seen some pretty clever hides and those are the ones I remember! When I am considering a new hide, I try to borrow on those and that is what you should do, too.
