ich sehe da kein Problem, frage den Owner, ob in der Ecke in der du etwas vor hast, ein Cache von ihm liegt.
Ab und an erhalte ich eben solche Anfragen zu meinen Sachen und dann gibt es entsprechende Auskunft.
In meinem Fall ist es kein Problem, da ich fast alle Caches des betreffenden Owners habe, aber wenn es um den allgemeinen Fall geht, ist es schon etwas schwieriger. Über die Liste von Caches kann man ja nicht leicht rausfinden, wo die Caches ca. liegen - da jeden Premium-Cache-Besitzer fragen, ob in dieser und jener Gegend noch ein Platz für einen Cache frei ist… fragwürdig ob man da Antworten bekommt.

For months? I had the problem only for some days (maybe two) as a basic member and haven't heard any complaints from the rest of my family who all have premium accounts.

Ist mir auch aufgefallen und ich find es schade, weil man so als Basic Member nochmal viel schwerer tut, Caches zu legen. Auf der Karte hat man wenigstens gesehen: da ca. ist ein Premium Cache (bei Tradis zumindes) und man konnte noch Caches auslegen.
Da in meiner Heimat ein Cacher alle seine Caches ganz plötzlich zu Premium gemacht hat (cached gleichzeitig in der Gegend am längsten und hat somit einige), ist es nun schwer bis unmöglich, Caches zu legen. Wirklich schade…

Bin heute über eine Dose und Listing gestolpert, bei der vorgesehen ist, dass man den Cache mit einem UV-Stift, also unsichtbar, loggt. Da ich mich zu erinnern meinte, dass zusätzliche Log-Anforderungen nicht zulässig sind, habe ich mal die Regeln durchgeschaut und auch folgenden Abschnitt gefunden:
For physical caches all logging requirements beyond finding the cache and signing the log are considered additional logging requirements (ALRs) and must be optional.Jetzt meine Frage: ist mit UV-Stift loggen (es steht im Listing explizit' date=' dass Logs, die nicht mit UV-Stift durchgeführt wurden, kommentarlos gelöscht werden) eine ALR oder zählt das zu "normalem" Loggen? Finde die idee ja nicht schlecht, aber für einen Tradi doch sehr gemein.
Würde mal gerne die Meinungen hören (und möchte jetzt niemanden Anschwätzen und werde somit den Cache selbst nicht verraten [img']http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/public/style_emoticons/default/bad_boy_animated.gif[/img])

Have the same problem over and over again.
Mouseover doesn't display the cache name tooltip and the cursor doesn't change to the right pointer. Clicking on a cache is also not possible, so the map is currently (and from time to time) not usable at all.
Also, when there's no problem with opening the bubbles, changing the map source (MapQuest, OSM, ...) WILL add the problem and nothing works any more.

Had the same problem and the website generated an 18 digits long unlock code... Omitting the last 3 digits worked but Groundspeak should fix this problem soon

You should have stated that you are talking about the Web Cameras category. This is only one of currently 1039 categories, and they all have their own set of attributes (or better: variables). Those variables are for additional information about the waymark, not more and lot less.
Private or public ownership of the camera in this case.

What is the difference when choosing Public or Private in a Waymark's attributes?
I can't see a difference when changing the attribute. At first I thought maybe this can hide the link to the actual webcam (to make it more of a challenge to find a proper link
but doesn't seem like it.And the Waymark itself is visible when not logged in, so it's not some kind of invite-only-feature?!
Who know's the difference and can explain it to me (didn't find anything in the FAQ either)?

Since the new design started launching I have been wondering why the header is so huge – and there twice.
It does not make sense for me to have the header as two lines, where there's more than enough space for both headers to be combined into a single one, like on the map view.
Of course the map does not feature the Learn, Play, … links but come on – look at the screenshots and tell me there is not more than enough space for them to be combined.
I'm on a 13" laptop and can even make the browser window smaller by 1/5th and it still fits before it turns on the responsive hamburger menu.
It just takes up to much vertical space. Especially now with the updated dashboard and all the whitespace you decide to use in the new design, there's potential to finally fix this.
