    And after your entry

We put the mouse trap in but we didn't set it!!!

1.I doubt a loaded mouse trap would fit into a cache.

When loaded the mouse trap’s arm is extended outward.

    2. Mouse traps are sensitive there’s no way you could have “pulled it out” if it was loaded.

But there’s no reason to put a mouse trap in a cache, a kid geocacher could have played with it and got hurt.

    As the Geocaching faq states

What shouldn't be in a cache?

Use your common sense in most cases. Explosives, ammo, knives, drugs, and alcohol shouldn't be placed in a cache. Respect the local laws. All ages of people hide and seek caches, so use some thought before placing an item into a cache

  2. when myally cats cache was stolen I glued up a lot of grass and stuff on it it was relly hidden and great! But people forgot to put it back right and the camo started falling off so that was bad.

As for MY stright blade screwdriver I think some 1 didnt put it back right so a person grabbed it and threw it away. "seeing that it was fake"

That one looked like a 90o bend for electrical wire.

  3. Ya I was lucky but it didnt rain the whole day so I went out.

I like to go to the wash after it rains and watch all the water go by.

then on the 2nd day the wash only has like 5 in of water so I take my dog out to play. thats alaways fun!

As for freinds stealing my cache's I dont think 1 of them knows how to turn on a computer. let alone go buy a gps and go caching lol.

I was thinking of a idea for a new cache i'll put it on a phone pole It will have a lock on it and i'll put those lock #'s on the site. but it will be locked to the pole with tiedowns. and it will look like a sprinkler box. So no one will take it.

  4. nick, one good suggestion was to make your caches "Members Only" caches.  Unfortunately you have to become a Premium Member to do that.  I'm not sure if you can get the $30.00 to do that (a one year Premium Membership cost $30.00).  You can do it for $3.00 a month, but if you slip out of premium member status you will not be able to see your own caches.  You can do this with paypal, but here again I'm not sure if your parents would allow you to do that.  If you do become a Premium Member you can make your caches invisible to those that are not Premium Members.  That is your best defense at this point.

The only other thing you could do is make them micro caches with only a logbook and maybe these people will get bored.  One thing -- don't give in.  Resist the urge to post the logs you have.  They know they are getting to you that way and they win.  Don't be upset in the logs and just replace the caches.

    I hope this helps.

I'am now going to put up micro cache's. I dont care if thay get stolen I have 1,000's of film containers.

And for that premium membership. I think I'll join that If I get relly into this sport this winter "in AZ it it too hot to geocaching in the summer".

As for the $30.00 fee thats not a prob because I mow lawns and can easly afford that."thats how I bought my gps lol"

And I would like to thank you for helping me with this problem.

    happy caching

Good attitude nick! Don't show that they are getting to you and you will be the winner in this. Just replace them and post a simple log on your cache like "wow, my cache is gone again but I replaced it -- have fun cachers!"

thats a good idea to put in that

"wow, my cache is gone again but I replaced it -- have fun cachers" log i'll go delete my old depressing one and put something like that in.

after all I dont want to be a strong sad

  6. here is what happned sadly

All i would i like is a way to stop thease cache haters from ruining cacheies from geocacheing.com

I think This will help out every one and this will need to happen if we dont want cache ruiners to destroy this fun sport.

also type in 85029 and you will see the defistation thease people are doing by ruining thease cachies.

they arent archived just disabled all within 2 months

I think that geocaching.com should limit caches to be seen by members only. And after you download a way point you have 30 days to report the find for the first 10 caches you find or your membership will be cancelled.

alot of us are haveing this problem

  7. I had my cache vandalised by punks here is a link stolen!!

They dumped all of the "kiddie toys" out and found a book on cassette tape and wraped all the black tape over the bushes.

They took the ammo box with all the goodies punks!

I hate it when the cachie's get vandalised.

  8. ok it is a bounty hunter tracker iv i'll get back to you on the price but it will be under 100 i 'll have to watch how mutch this one goes for on ebay.

i'll have to ask my folks about selling it i never used it tho just sat.

  9. on e-bay that is cheap RELLY CHEAP. but in real life a buddy or friend will give you one.

people on ebay dont know alot about computers and if it says it "runs word and internet and has a good bat" it is worth 500 . i've seen a 486dx2 go on ebay for 300 because it had a good bat and every 1 was happy.

you can buy a new labtop with 80gb 2.3 ghz 512 ram for around $800.00

and it will run ut 2004 easy and farcry.

lesson go to your frys electronics and buy a new labtop for $300 more

  10. Magellan color=lasts only like 3 hrs on reg batts

    garmin legend=lasts 15 hrs

Magellan color=takes 2 to 3 mint to pick up sats"tried every position"

garmin="get it in 30 secs from every position"

bad bout garmin=loss of signal under bridge or by big mountains on all sides

    and poor case

    bad bout Magellan= $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

    and up above too

i say the garmin is best all round price, function, size etc

BUT i say the Magellan is better for mapping and stuff since it has the big screen color etc.

and the Magellan meri has upgradeable memory "i like that!!'
