  1. I have found only one cache like that, It was this weekend, an I pulled out some stuff from my cache goodie bag(all usefull stuff) and replenished the cache a bit. Hopefully others will add to caches like that. Took food, chewed McToys, soaken notepads, donated placitc ziploc's for the logbook and the whole rest of the cache box(gallon bag for that) Left usefull goodies, maybe not all would agree...(toy cars2, colored pencils, new bug spray, gemstone, small coloring book, and a can of wd40) I do like the picture idea. Now where did I set my GPS???
  2. actually it was a geocaching.com cache, the owner had not yet posted it. Still hasn't as of yet. Well It was sorta odd to find a cache in a place where there was none listed and I wasn't looking for it. chences of that are astronomical at best. Now where did I set my GPS???
  3. anybody ever find a cache that the author had not posted to the site yet??? while hunting one in my area that happened to me today.... the cache was hunting was...ralann's waypoint Now where did I set my GPS???
  4. Wilderness caches are also prohibited in the area where I am from. Abandoned Property and such, also it involves the use of mechanical devices, not in keeping with the wilderness theme. Now where did I set my GPS???
  5. Well I was thinking of how funny it would be to sit around and intimidate cache seekers while they loook. All the while heckeling them from a chair. But then again I have an odd sence of what can be funny. Now where did I set my GPS???

  7. as i said before, a LED is what I use for URBAN caches, but for in the woods I use a non-LED light, you just need more light in the woods. Now where did I set my GPS???
  8. Battery life is the issue, LED lights have battery lifes that are flat astounding. Beyond ANY standard light Now where did I set my GPS???
  9. I enjoy the idea of a slight competition to get to milstone numbers, but the true fun is going cool places and solving peoples puzzle caches. For me it is more a game with myself to see how many I can do though Now where did I set my GPS???

  12. I thank you all for the ideas, I have spawned some more ideas for myself by variants of those listed. Well it is off to go and plan yet another cache Now where did I set my GPS???
  13. You got the idea of what I was doing, it is a multi cache that the users add to the complexity of. I like the travel bug cache idea too. Now where did I set my GPS???
  14. well I must say this was the BEST deal i have seen in a long time. Great to be able to help support the caching community. I am thinking of doing member only caches and then conjerting themm after a period of time. Thanks to the QUAD for this idea. Now where did I set my GPS???
  15. Ok here is my list... Magellan 315 Cache page printout Water Gerber multi tool Camera 44mag tools for getting my truck unstuck. that about sums it up. no frills and just enough to be safe. Now where did I set my GPS???
  16. It is not that hard to goto a location and find a piece of information to log a cache, and as I see it gettig there is 95% of the fun anyway. Why cheat the game and log places you havent gotten to. Now where did I set my GPS???

  18. I recently placed a MOVING cache... it is upto the player to decide where it goes and then post the bearing and distance to its new location from the last place it was at. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=16199 I was wondering if there were any other caches of this type or if you had any tother ideas for this type of cache(roving). I have one more moving cache type planned but need to get out and place it. Now where did I set my GPS???
  19. I truly understand why the site now has member only caches, As Quad stated before he would convert his caches to general public caches after a bit of time 2 weeks I beleive is a good Idea, I actually play this game in the same area and subscribed just to find that cache among a few others. Some caches that I put out will be done as member only... at first then I will change them to everyone caches Now where did I set my GPS???
  20. Yeah I carry "protection." The majority of the caches in my area are out in the woods and require a hike. I always on these hikes and out of town caches take my friends Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson Them and a half dozen 44mag shells. I have come across both an angry ber and a VERY angry badger while caching. Fortunatly a close shot toward them made them retreat. Now where did I set my GPS???
