  1. Whoops. I seem to have accidently removed it from the we server. Now my current version is online. Various little changes, most I can't remember. Have fun Roolku
  2. This will work, but a more flexible way is to use the fields in the export dialog box. My currently looks like: but I am sure it can be even more improved. Cheers Roolku
  3. Now that the pqs for all the inactive cachers have been cleared out, could we go back to normal operation please? Thanks Roolku
  4. Found another (I think). A link to google maps under Online Maps. Roolku
  5. individual listings for different types of travel bugs
  6. I just noticed that there are now individual listings for jeeps/coins etc. Thanks a lot. Much easier to find individual items now. Cheers Roolku
  7. I'm pretty sure there will be no problem with that. I'll have Dancingfool get back to you. I know there was someone from Germany also expressing interest in the coins. Thanks! Yes, got a message from him. Thanks a lot Roolku
  8. I would like to order a couple - do you by any chance ship to Europe as well? Cheers Roolku

  10. Thank you for your quick reply. Sounds good. Not sure what file you mean. Also I couldn't find a PutFile macro in the gsak directory or on your webpage. Unless I am overlooking something this only gives me a single file with all the caches rather than individual files. Also I can't seem to get log entries into a view? Cheers Roolku
  11. Hi Clyde, so far GSAK has been able to cater for all my wishes, but now I am running into a dead end. I would like to create text files to view on my mp3 player, one for every cache, named as: %typ1%con1%drop2%notGC%code %name.txt That would be similar to the html export, but just as plain text and without the indexes. Any idea on how this could be achieved? Cheers Roolku
  12. Appology accepted (I didn't realise it was you who did it). I am still curious how the fact that someone is able to download data for a non-approved cache constitutes a security risk for the geocaching.com server. I would feel flattered if someone went through the trouble to get the data in advance (not sure how he would know that such data would exist in the first place.). 'Security hole' seems to be a catch-all excuse these days to make life harder for the user. I would appreciate that very much. It seems to work well for the actual cache page or is that another 'security hole' and we soon won't be able to see it either? Thanks for listening Roolku
  13. Yes, he has probably heard of tape recorders as well. The fact remains these are just crutches to work around something that was introduced with no apparent benefit and has destroyed an elegant way of doing things in the process. *shrug* I had just to recreate my cache notes (after approval) for three caches from little snippets and it *was* extra work and it was annoying. Good for you if it doesn't matter to you. Roolku
  14. I have the same problem. Most annoying - now I have to keep my cache notes in a seperate file where they can get lost, rather in the GSAK database. *shrug* Roolku

  16. I agree. Without www.geocaching.com tracking the coin would lose a lot of attaction. As a compromise would it not be possible to have both (trackable and plain) versions? Or would this be too confusing? Roolku
  17. Is it possible to save/retrieve the current "user flags" like, for instance, the filters. I use them to mark caches that I want to do in the future and find it limiting that there can only be one set. Is there another way to "bookmark" several sets of caches for further use? Cheers Roolku
  18. Try deleting all the custom icons in memory map before you import the csv file. This has worked for me and I believe Stuey had the same issue. Roolku
  19. A friendly geocacher from the "Motley Crew" pointed out a couple of small bugs in the script. This has now been fixed. zip file at the usual place: http://roolku.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/gsak2mm.zip Cheers Roolku
  20. Earthcaches are now supported as well as "other" waypoints. I use them mainly for my (and other people's) houses, so they show up wit the standard "house" icon. The zip file has been updated with the script and the extra icons. Cheers Roolku P.S. Thanks for the kind words. Roolku
  21. Thank you, I am glad you find it useful. Please note, that gsak has changed the gpx output format slightly in a recent version change, causing web and multi caches to appear as unknown. I have updated the zip file on my website with a modified version of csv.xsl. Cheers Roolku
