Unless I am overlooking something this only gives me a single file with all the caches rather than individual files. Also I can't seem to get log entries into a view? Cheers Roolku

Hi Clyde, so far GSAK has been able to cater for all my wishes, but now I am running into a dead end. I would like to create text files to view on my mp3 player, one for every cache, named as: %typ1%con1%drop2%notGC%code %name.txt That would be similar to the html export, but just as plain text and without the indexes. Appology accepted (I didn't realise it was you who did it). I am still curious how the fact that someone is able to download data for a non-approved cache constitutes a security risk for the geocaching.com server. I would feel flattered if someone went through the trouble to get the data in advance (not sure how he would know that such data would exist in the first place.). 'Security hole' seems to be a catch-all excuse these days to make life harder for the user. I would appreciate that very much. It seems to work well for the actual cache page or is that another 'security hole' and we soon won't be able to see it either? Thanks for listening Roolku

Yes, he has probably heard of tape recorders as well. The fact remains these are just crutches to work around something that was introduced with no apparent benefit and has destroyed an elegant way of doing things in the process. *shrug* I had just to recreate my cache notes (after approval) for three caches from little snippets and it *was* extra work and it was annoying. I agree. Without www.geocaching.com tracking the coin would lose a lot of attaction. As a compromise would it not be possible to have both (trackable and plain) versions? Or would this be too confusing? Roolku

Is it possible to save/retrieve the current "user flags" like, for instance, the filters. I use them to mark caches that I want to do in the future and find it limiting that there can only be one set. Is there another way to "bookmark" several sets of caches for further use? Cheers Roolku

Try deleting all the custom icons in memory map before you import the csv file. This has worked for me and I believe Stuey had the same issue. Roolku

Earthcaches are now supported as well as "other" waypoints. I use them mainly for my (and other people's) houses, so they show up wit the standard "house" icon. The zip file has been updated with the script and the extra icons. Cheers Roolku P.S. Thanks for the kind words. Roolku

Thank you, I am glad you find it useful. Please note, that gsak has changed the gpx output format slightly in a recent version change, causing web and multi caches to appear as unknown. I have updated the zip file on my website with a modified version of csv.xsl. Cheers Roolku
