We will be updating the search functionality for unactivated trackables to show the icon and default name. The fix should rollout within the next few weeks. In the meantime, you can use this URL: https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?tracker=XXXX (replacing XXXX with the TB number). Thanks for the feedback and your patience.
THANKS!!! The link works, but looking forward to the update!!!

The ability is still there. https://www.geocaching.com/track lets you enter the trackable's code, and if you hit search without entering anything you can search by keyword, cache number or username (found or owned).
This does not accomplish what we want to do. We are looking for the official name and TB number
of UNactivated trackables that are in our collections.

I REALLY DISLIKE WHAT'S BEEN DONE WITH THE TRACKABLE SEARCH!!! I do not want to activate all my trackables. I loved being able to enter the GC code to get the exact name of the Coin and it's TB number.

That's the issue....I'm not sure what they are worth?
Care to make an offer?
I have a few of the very first Oregon Geocoins minted from 2003 and wondered where the best place to sell them would be. Not looking to gouge anyone, but would like to get as much as I could of course. They are trackable and have never been activated. Would eBay be the best avenue or another site? We have been out of geocaching for quite a while and don't intend to launch these.
Capt. Jack & 1st Mate
I'd love to purchase two if the price is reasonable!!! PM me...thanks
Sent you an email via GC so I could give you my email address.

Greetings, kind of sad to see you are selling some of your collection. Can't wait to see the Coins you choose to sell. I am looking for a GC trackable North Dakota Coin and the FTF Magazine V6,I1 (the first in 2016)for those portions of my collections. Please keep us informed on how you choose to proceed.
In some ways I'm sad as well... however, I am using the funds to finance outdoor adventures (photo equipment and a new tent). So I sort of feel I am using the coins in a good way.
At the moment, there is one person interested in getting the lot. This would be easiest for me and a real win-win (as there is a range on the coins). I am not sure if I have the trackable North Dakota coin - I did get a LOT of the early State coins though.
I hope things work out in your favor---obviously!!!
If you do sell them as "singles," I'd love to see what you've got...and, the ND!!!

Well, I'm sure I've made Santa Claire's NAUGHTY LIST for being so lame in not posting earlier
AND, am standing in front of nevadanicks firing line for a snowball splat
Next, I want to thank my Secret Santa for the awesome Back to the Cache Geocoin and card. Pretty sure I know who sent it, but the card was signed with my Santa's "real" name, not caching name
I think it was THeSKuLL
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and LOVE, LIGHT AND PROSPERITY in the NEW YEAR!!!
Thanks to Clair for hosting again this year!!!

PLEASE don't retire the Old Search!!! I'm a semi-old 1%er as I started Caching in March 2009. My preference is to adventure, get into nature and out of the daily grind. I think many of the changes are geared toward newer folks and those who have been caching for years are forgotten about. WE COUNT, TOO!!! And, we will be around longer than most of the newcomers.

GREETINGS TO EVERYONE!!! Thanks for hosting again, Claire!!!
