Noticed in a log of one cache on our watchlist the sad news, so caught up with the forums to verify this. We met Mark last year on the CIN Fox Hunt - lovely chap, our sympathies go to his family and close friends - he will be sorely missed by all cachers, those who knew him and those who didn't. Nice idea to maybe plan a fox hunt in his memory.

Like the look of the website - in our favourites list already - will be watching for updates etc - well done.

Congrats from us too, here's to your next ton.

Well done Simes, Helen & Matthew. We're hot on your heels, us "plodders" take it easy eh! Here's to your next ton.

In our opinion, swap items are there to be swapped, like for like. After all, we're here for the sport of the game, not to put a price on the contents of a box! If we costed time, petrol etc., we would never go caching!
TBs should definitely be a separate entity, and not classed as a swap item - they're there to be moved on as swiftly as possible and you are still playing the game fair and square.

Well done Andy, here's to the BIG ONE - congratulations from us too.

We're still willing and available, although may have to drop everything as we're thinkin of taking our tent down to Cornwall, but no dates set as yet.

Maybe landlord thinks a Bank Holiday is not such a good day to have a meet, if pub expects to be busy anyway?

Well done MarcB. We've only tackled three of the Quest so far, but each has been a gem of a place - even Iron What a well thought out series - thanks, we'll be attacking more shortly.

Sounds like a good idea to us. Nothing yet planned for 3 May so we'll watch this space.

Well spotted Bennetts - yes it is me (Jilly) in piccy 15. Nice lot of mug shots from disposable camera - now we know who we're up against!

We have also placed a cache up a tree and we strategically placed logs underneath for a step. No negative responses so far, only positive feedback from cachers who thought it a gr8 hiding place instead of under the usual pile of sticks
