  1. The blue moon is a great idea. One small problem, there is no c17 or A169 on the glass color chart. If I were to match colors based on your descriptions, I would say C213, C214, or C250 for the seas The closest match for the land would be B453, B470, B450, C720, C719, or A 464. Unfortunately, I have the advantage of having the actual color samples. Sometimes they look very different in real life than they do in the pictures. Whoops....wrong numbers should be C217 and A469
  2. Here is my submission for a new Luna 1651,2011 coloration Using the old adage, "Once in a blue moon....", I decided to make the coloration primarily blue with a more traslucent darker blue for the seas and a lighter more opaque blue elsewhere. Thanks for the cointest Edited to fix color swatch numbers
  3. Congrats! I wish I could have stayed longer at GCF but had to leave after the poker event.
  4. I have a few AE versions of the Schrodinger's Geocoin available for trade. Please email a trading list to me through my profile if you are interested. I will be including the matching error coin with duplicate tracking number so that a version of the coin can be released into the wild for travel if you want. Thanks for your interest in the coin.
  5. With the trades that I was able to do there were quite a few coins that I ended up with this weekend. Here are some of the purchases that I made while there from the Vendors. I will do this in a couple posts to make sure they aren't so big. From Vanelle: From Geocoinstore.com: Schrodinger's Geocoin LE Dragon's Tail LE : Silver I have one extra of each for trade with the exception of Vanelle's Sunshine.Freedom (third picture)
  6. Here is a sneak peak at one of them
  7. Yea! I finally got the remint of the Artist's Edition (good thing too as I am leaving for GCF in 8 hrs). Here is photos of before the remint and the current coin. I will get the winners coins out in the mail on Monday.
  8. I'm pretty sure your question is what is our personal opinion on the matter? The line between track-able coins and other items are getting blurred with the leather/wood/slate items and other handmade trackables. Personally I prefer my geocoins to be metal myself even tho I do have some clay/slate "geocoins" in my collection. I think the name "geocoin" is being used to describe these items because a different term for them hasn't been accepted by the geocaching community as yet.
  9. I like that term. But there are much better ways to get these results you would try to find by probing for IDs, which as you already described is limited by how many people have activated their trackables. See below: It's called Universally unique identifier (UUID). UUID of the Tranquility Geocoin series: 38869133-adfa-44a7-8201-1ce9fceee4e6 The data on our website is the result of precise database forensics completed by information from unactivated Geocoins, release notes, forum posts, private investigations and also some educated guesses. How does one find the UUID for a particular trackable? edited for horrible typing Aha! Figured out how to do it.

  12. I know which one that it but since I'm running a cointest on this thread I will refrain from answering.
  13. I don't have one right now but I have to take some photos tomorrow and can include it in the batch to be photographed.
  14. actually I haven't got a reply back but......
  15. Time to get this thread restarted ! The first person to correctly guess 10 geo-pictionary posts and post 10 new geo-pictionary entries (following the rules of course) will win one of the coin below. If there is a stall in process of an inordinate amount of time (24 hours or greater), I will post "Time for a new picture" on this thread and the next entry will be allowed for the purpose of this contest. The cointest begins with the correct identification of this coin including color scheme. Good Luck!
  16. I've thought about that myself and recently started checking them before I sent them out for a trade.
  17. I will be sending some coins on this mission as well. I just have to get it all together first.
