  1. I think another unicycle challenge cache may be on the way over the summer when i get home! Just need to find the right location!
  2. i have a mate who does this also. he aint shy he just didnt feel comfortable by giving his email address when registering
  3. i suggest we continue in the uk forum as no one is bothering here
  4. I will join you in thes betting stakes! 1) Most countries: 5. Oz, UK, USA and 2 others 2) Total milage: At least 23,500 3) Numbers of caches 21 4) time taken 5 months, 22 days, 7 hours 5) take taken by last to finish 2 years, 8 months
  5. also remember its FA cup final day so pub (if its held at one) may be very busy!
  6. any one get the feeling that there could be a lot of waiting around during this!
  7. This one always gets me! hope that works
  8. death is something which children could come across at any cache. One if mine is on an agricultural college (my home residence at uni). some of the sights here ar amazing during the rut (deer) and lambing season. Some cachers have been stop in their tracks by the Burton Hunt (fox hunting) - not trying to cause comment on this just saying. These are all things whioh you could find at any cache in the country and so finding to dead lambs and sheilding kids from it is pathetic if you ask me.
  9. do we know which cache the starting cache is? would quite like to watchlist it
  10. i never put a tag on mine. takes the fun out of bugs. I always like to find out where a bug is going when i log it, so that is how i operate my own bugs also.
  11. I would like to enter my Tb for this race (have tired 30 times to post this so i hope it finally works) Name of TB - Loster Green Tb code - TBF068 Cache aiming for - Getting Wood Hope this is ok, please send me the address to send tb to!
  12. recently bought a walki talki set for long distance group walks where the gorups slipts up. Thought i couild also use it for geocaching, anoyone else use them and if so what channel are you on? You never know we could have a chat some time!
  13. Very bored here also so tomorrow off to try and crack half of MarcB's Alchemy!
  14. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...&log=y&decrypt= The cache above has been visited 466 times since 2002. I have caches 2 years older which aint got 50 visits! What are the top ten visited caches in the world?
  15. I have to say that i think Geojeeping is a great idea, there are lots of caches (and trigs) which appear on White roads in the UK. most of these have "unsuitable for motors" signs on them, but these are public roads so in theory drivers can go down them. Geojeeping could be done on such roads!
  16. The bit in the log about the "black country" well that is simple - The cacher is moving the Tb to Birmingham
  17. i have to say that i feel that soon there may be too many caches in the UK. Maybe it is time for a 6 month ban on placing caches?
  18. best cache i have ever done is DUNE in Lincolnshire. This is a big challenge and well worth the effort
  19. also Mousebreaker.com if you then click on BMX ghost (has pic of santa on bmx bike) see how quick you can do the courses, i have done number three in 30.55 secs
  20. i would rather places be empty then have caches every mile or so, fewer caches makes days out enjoyable because you see more of the country
  21. sorry i have been quiet for a week i have been on a course in Scotland. Right, let me lay out the proposed format the the whole thing will take. this was the first idea i had but there are already 100's of bugs which challenge is to do this so i wanted to go for something a little more EXTREME! So, I plan to start all the bugs at an event in the UK sometime between christmas 2004 and my birthday early 2005. This will be held at a pub (hopefully with an extreme connection). Then the bugs will be free. Their aim will be to travel to a set cache (with an extreme theme (ie) sport, weather, terrain etc....) once they have been PLACED AND LEFT in this cache the next leg will be announced. Bugs who havent been to the first cache cannot go straight to the second. Yes this is the aim. Once i have taken residence at uni (1 week to go) then i will post an address for all tb's to be sent to
  22. when my mate came to the pub he was not a member, i had met him for the day (as i knew him from uni, but he has subsiquently failed his re-sits and wont be back next year). He was going to rejister with the name HALO, but it would appear that this changed to heskey. i have emailed him from the location here and will see if anyting happens, you have to remember though that i am in Birmingham (lincoln in a week) and he is in Harrogate - possibly further away as he is looking for work teaching kayaking
  23. Any one interested? I dont mind organising it. The main idea is to have around 10 different legs in different countries around the world. As soon as a competitor makes it to the first cache the second one is released. But a Tb which has NOT made it to the 1st cache cannot go straight to the second one! The race would start in the UK and as soon as i start at uni (1 week) will post a contact address (if) this becomes a successful thread!
