  1. Thanks bittsen for the help. Ouch DarkZen and Beautiful - that hurt. I did try googling it but apparently wasn't using the best of search terms. Heading back to lurkdom...
  2. I searched the forums for a while and this topic is probably in there somewhere but I sure couldn't find it. So, I am coming out of lurkdom to ask the experts....I want to place a cache in a library...it will be in the reference section and will be some kind of thick book. What do I use to make all the pages stick together? I know I need to do that to both halves and then carve (for lack of a better word) out the cache cavity on one side. Anyone out there able to help?? thanks in advance from northern Michigan...
  3. Welcome to the game! Am I right in determining that you are in Smith's Falls, Ontario? You might have better success finding a geocaching buddy on the Canada forums (just keep scrolling down the forum choices). I would love to help you but am in southwest Ohio. Happy Caching! Is their anyone in the Smiths Fall area that would be interested in taking me Geocaching with them so that I can figure out how to find caches on my own... I tried to find a couple when I was on vacation in the bancroft area, but I had no luck
  4. Same here...didn't notice it until about 6p.m. EST but it probably was earlier than that. Got a FTF tonight just by pure luck - never got the notice but was on the site submiting a cache and saw a new one had popped up.
  5. A few weeks ago there was a thread on swag items...at least I think that was the topic. Someone in FL posted a picture of a neat geocaching keychain along with links of where to buy the supplies. I emailed the OP to get permission to copy their idea. They said fine but now I cannot find the original thread. I spent the last hour searching with a variety of search terms but can't come up with it. Can anyone help me?? Thanks!
  6. I am looking for a cacher or caching team to complete a 2 state cache. The link to the cache is below. I have the coords to the second stage. Thanks! Deb of Falcon Four OHILOH
  7. No help with the logging/find count issue but I wanted to say this sounds like a neat cache - wish I wasn't 1948.5 miles from it!
  8. I'm normally a lurker but can't pass up this thread - Web-ling in southern Ohio does a great job with a tremendous workload - he gets my vote!
  9. Another vote for the pokey stick. This is one of my kids' favorite activities...as we get close to a cache they start the search for the perfect pokey stick. Falcon Four
