Our moderator Eartha has a pretty snazzy geocoin named after her. You know the one.... it's the Delorme coin and the earth in the middle spins! How cool is that! (Well, okay, in MY mind, it's named after her.. I can't help but smile everytime I come across the name, "Eartha")

Beautiful coins. I wouldn't be able to stop looking at them either. The design is so intricate. I love all the symbology on the coins.

I spent last Saturday at a County Park's Earth Day Celebration. I spoke to others about geocaching and helped a few young people find caches hidden in the park. I also donated an Earth Day geocoin to be raffled off to a registered Geocacher. On Earth Day... I plan to be at the beach enjoying the sand, sunshine and water.

Okay, so I'll send my name and addy to Neilsen. Then, someone sends me an invite and I'll be able to see the addresses of others on the list? Sorry for being so clueless.. I just got in from a trip out of town and am trying to catch up on things.

I was in Atlanta for 3 days to see King Tut and the Terra Cotta Warriors. Could not get the internet connection in the room to work. :-( Missed the sale. Oh my. Can I say I'm disappointed? You can bet I'm gonna be parked in front of the computer the weekend after Easter.

Three firetrucks rolled into my mailbox yesterday. Woot woot! Love them all, but especially LOVE the gold truck. Now to decide.... activate, release, keep, trade, or give??? I signed up for a mission... I hope I get someone who likes firetrucks!

Thank you for the update Tsun. Your turtles definitely ARE beautiful enough to be worn as jewelry. I had thought of that already! I met a fellow cacher this weekend who had drilled a hole into the purple baby and had it hanging on his walking stick by a knotted leather thread. He instantly became my hero! I'm going to look at the photos once more.....

I have had 2 caches go missing in the past 3 days. Both caches were on private property owned by my family. The caches had trackables in them. In one cache, there were two laminated card geocoin substitutes. I don't care for these cards but now that I have lost several personal coins, I am beginning to see their value. I am thinking of making some up for my coins and attaching several (3) of the cards to a key ring to set free. I'll call it a traveling geocoin ring or something. I win because I don't lose my coins. Cachers win because they get 3 codes instead of one. Does anyone have a document program for formatting the coin cards?
