Using Garmin Vista Hcx for this mutli

Basically I'm trying to triangulate some Coords. The Vista/Legend manual is pretty lame. -
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...2a-997ad15f4660 Can I use only Vista to do this cache? If so, how?

I hope that isn't a real pineapple.

Man when I was little my mom would bathe me in calamine lotion. Good to know that was for nothing. -
It's caches like this why I enjoy DNF's. I haven't even attempted this one, but love reading the logs. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...52-c6eba273563f

For all of us that allergic to poison ivy
isuquinndog replied to R&JStockman's topic in General geocaching topics
Can you grow out of an allergy? I was very allergic when I was younger. I could get it by being near it it seemed. I even had it in my throat and on my eye lids once and had to have shots by the doctor. But now that I've started geocaching, I know I've touched it but haven't had any outbreaks. -

My mom always told me not to scratch when I do get PI because if it breaks open, I can get it on my hands and spread it to other parts of my body. Any one know if that is true? -
Nevermind. I'm dumb.

I see this one is moving again!

I have a yellow one right now. Just picked it up from a cache near me and am moving it about 150 miles south this weekend.

Hey I've been there!

How come there isn't a thread for Illinois Cachers?
isuquinndog replied to otis89's topic in Midwest
I'm in Morton. You need to come over this way ... lots of caches and lots of cachers. I've noticed there are a lot over there. Who knew? We still have plenty to look for in BloNo but I'm sure we'll head that way eventually. I'm from Chillicothe originally so maybe on a trip back there we'll stop. -

Have you selected "United States" in the "Country" field? I did, but I changed it to some thing else and then back again and the state field popped up. Thanks. -

I don't have a place for state in "Mailing Address" -

But you cannot sort those. The best way is to become a premium member, then you can set up email notifications when a new cache is published. You can set it from your home or whatever area you want to. -
vista cx - cache hints and difficulty
isuquinndog replied to drbadskwerl's topic in GPS technology and devices
Is there a macro to add them as geocaches instead of POIs? -
vista cx - cache hints and difficulty
isuquinndog replied to drbadskwerl's topic in GPS technology and devices
Correct. I have a Vista hcx and though you can't use the actual Geocaching mode and mark it as found and all that, you can use GSAK and their macros to do paperless geocaching. Now, the downside is that only a very small amount of characters fit on a screen on the Vista, so if you want every thing that the page on gc.com says, it's going to be a lot of paging. -
For how many days have you used Gsak ?
isuquinndog replied to Team-Mikkelsen's topic in GPS technology and devices
Look at the title bar to the image he posted. It says "registered to..." so he's paid for it... Ah, I didn't know that. Thank you fellow Illinois-ian. -

Have you paid for it? If not, how long does your splash screen stay up?! -

isuquinndog replied to AmishHacker's topic in General geocaching topics
I don't have any pics, maybe I'll go back and do that but I found one that was a pipe in the ground in a rocky area (like rocks used between bushes) and the micro was in the pipe with the top of it as a bottle cap, like it was just garbage on the ground.
