    Can't delete log

Tried to change the second log to a note, but no luck. I am logged in, and it gives me the choice to delete. But when I click on delete, nothing happens. I think there must be something glitched on the server. ____________________________________________________ I may be lost, but at least I am making good time.
  3. When I logged a find last night (GCA161), the server gave me an error and didn't show my log on the page. So I tried to log it again. This time I got no error, but both logs show on the page. Now I can't get either one of them to delete. Help, I don't want to be a double logger ! ____________________________________________________ I may be lost, but at least I am making good time.
  4. Where I live, the big worry is rattlesnakes. So my most needed (and most used) item is an auto mechanics inspection mirror. It is a mirror on the end of a telescoping rod that I can stick into holes to look for caches before I stick my hand in.
  5. Thanks, choosing Idaho from the main page worked. If you start from the Hide and Seek a Cache page and select Idaho, you don't get the map option. That was how I used to do it.
  6. On the way to hiding a cache the other day, my family stopped for lunch at Burger King. The girls got an alien robot toy in their happy meals. We filled the cache we placed with toys from the dollar store, and my girls wanted to put their new McToys in too. I was reluctant because of all of the negative publicity the McToys get on this forum. After much begging, I gave in. A few days later I read the log from the first finder. What did his boy pick to trade ? You guessed it, the McToy. My conclusion, McToys are OK as long as they are new with all the parts (still wrapped in plastic is best).
  7. After searching for caches in my state, I used to be able to click a link that took me to a map view. I no longer can find that link. How do you get to the map of a state now ?

How about a good compass ?
  9. Since I use a Garmin III+, I only have 1.4 meg of memory to store maps. I use the R&R for the roads between my house and the trailhead because all I want to see is the roads and it uses less memory than the Topo. I use the Garmin Topo for the actual hunt on foot because I like to see where the rivers and cliffs are in relation to my position. I print my paper maps using the National Geographic Topo because my wife bought it for me for Xmas.
