  1. Please update #33 from CCWashburn to CCWelch on your next listing....Thank you! Glad to see this has not been lost in the mail yet....
  2. For those who did not get the chance to see and purchase these at MOGA, here they are! The Iowa 2012 Geocoin! They represent the State of Iowa from the Topography and Counties to the State Flower (Wild Rose), State Rock(Geode), State Bird(Gold Finch), and State Tree(Oak). The obverse features the American Flag with all 50 Stars and 13 Stripes, The Iowa State flag(you can even read the banner) and the Iowa Geocachers Organization Logo gracing the 3rd flag.
  3. NO MORE CLOCKS PLEASE-It has already been done.
  4. I am with drneal on this, I usually haul around 100 coins with me to the events, more if I know they will not be leaving my sight.
  5. Mr. Easter Geocoin Bunny will you surprise us in 2012??
  6. The samples are finally in, I MIGHT have these in hand at MOGA. I will still be waiting until after MOGA to sell them on the forum so I know that all my presales got delivered. I can add you to a waiting list if you are interested.
  7. Congratulations to all who have received this new mystery coin!
  8. I know I have your address somewhere...please send it to me again. Event is in June so I have some time to round up some trackables for you!(Maybe even a special coin I am currently working on )
  9. I like the 12 sides idea and I also am not huge on the clock idea...we've done a clock face before I think even in digital it would be redundant...now a digital countdown calendar to the "end of the world" might be fun.
  10. The coolest coin I own is the Medicine Wheel coin, but the upcoming Iowa 2012 is pretty awesome too. I am partial to the Medicine Wheel because it is my coin...as in my brainchild and with the help of others it got done!
  11. Front idea Back Idea Imagine Peace coin
  12. Honestly, I prefer to go through one of the manufacturers just so I don't have to keep track of the codes myself. I draw my design, send it for quotes, then get it done. One of the manufacturers usually blows all of the other quotes out of the water, but that is for you to learn.
  13. Here is my coin idea- Shape like a holiday ornament(instead of regular round) front-celebrating the 12-12-12 with twelve written in several languages. On the back the joined hands like the Imagine Peace back with Peace written in 12 languages surrounding it.(If the Imagine Peace owner would give permission)
  14. I am in for Iowa USA, I am designing and sharing with at least 1 other Iowa 12-12-12
  15. Count me in for 12-12-12 However a 12-21-12 sounds interesting also... Sorry no Feb 29 for me, just really am not big on the caching calendar thing, just another unnecessary stat to make you think you have to go find a micro in the woods.
  16. Actually with the addition of the words "Identify your Geocaches" or Mark your Geocaches" Groundspeak might just approve it. Or something like..."don't let this happen to your cache, remember to mark it"
  17. Nice coin. I've got a few questions: What does the reverse side look like? How big are they diameter wise? Are they trackable? (I think they should be if they're here. ) If so, do they have a unique icon? Thanks. Reverse has the Gx symbol broken into 4 squares with the GC.com colors , a black lacquer background and the tracking number. They do not have a unique icon yet, that is still in the project stage.Soon they will. They are 1.75 inches in diameter and are Satin silver.

  22. It was probably in the bottom of their cache bag and they finally cleaned out their cache bag.
  23. The Quileute symbols used in the movie are stylized and updated for the movie, you would have to do some digging to find the true symbols of the tribe.

    No L

Thank you to the Mystery Coin Giver of the No L coin, it arrived in my mail box today, 1 day before my birthday!!!! I thought it strange that I would mail myself something but when I got it open and looked at it, I almost fell on the ground laughing, it is exactly the design I was going to use on my Christmas cards last year and got talked out of by the guy behind the counter at Staples.(He didn't get what the design meant) Thanks so much for brightening my day! This will look great in my coin binder, but before it gets there I will have to show it off at my Birthday/Holiday event tomorrow (12/10).
