I have had lost packages too, I understand the frustration. Usually the place in question sends with delivery confirmation so they can track their product. Are they sending a replacement or did you have to pay for it? There is another place that I order from occasionally and often it takes a month or more for them to get product to me and it is not even international.

Tonight I sent 10 emails to people who have held on to my geocoins for more than 2 months, this only seems to happen with my coins, not my tb's or trackable traveler tags. I expect I may see 2 or 3 of these return to caches, the rest, people have picked them up and seem to have quit geocaching. I learned early on, if you release a traveler, say good bye because there is a very high probability will never see it again.

Thank you Wheezor and TeamEccs21for finally chiming in! And we have our FIRST TO RECEIVE on this mission....Congratulations ChrisEMT1 Hope you can post some pics! Looks like we are up to 12 missions that have been sent on their way, should have a few more received this week!!! Edited because once again I cannot count.

Mike was an asset to the geocaching community and coiners as a whole. His presence will be greatly missed. I am grateful that prayers were answered and he was able to spend the holidays with his family. Mike you were an angel on earth so there is no doubt where you are now. My condolences to Mike's family and friends he truly touched a lot of peoples hearts.

Alkator, thank you for finally chiming in! TeamEccs21 & Wheezor Where are you????? Two emails and a PM to each of you and still no response?? I am getting a little worried especially with missions already being sent out. I have received emails from a couple of participants asking for seeking lists and have emailed for answers...all who have emailed me, I have given you all of the answers I have received. Sp1tf1re I hope you have gotten your coin from the distributor, I sent you an email back to help you get help if it does not arrive soon. As of right now 6 people have sent off their missions, we should begin having received reports as soon as later this week!

Groundspeak has stated that caches cannot have special logging requirement with the exception of Mystery/Puzzle caches. I do not see having people trade 1 in 1 out for trackables is a logging requirement, it is just a CO hoping he won't have to keep finding trackables to add to the cache. I would post a note stating that as the owner of the coin you give permission for it to be moved without having to trade out. The CO may delete your log, then you may write to him and ask him nicely to move your coin from his cache.

Well, here is the update: It will be Saturday April 16th,2011 10:30am Roger's Park in Vinton. Campsites are available, $15 a night w/ electric hookups, $9 a night without. Depending on the weather the shower house may be open.

I for one am not comfortable with going to other blog sites, I was a blogger on a few well known sites for a while until I was having to have my computer wiped for spyware and viruses once a month. (these were things getting around or corrupting my antivirus and spyware programs, both of which update several times daily.) So this will be a cointest I will steer clear of.

I am currently planning a CITO for April 23rd(Closest Saturday to Earth Day)somewhere in or near Vinton, Iowa. This is just a heads up to keep your calendars open for that date if you would like to be a part of this event. Normally we start with the clean-up of a park or area of a park and follow it with a potluck meet and greet(But not before a picture of everyone with the pile of trash we collected) I will post details here as they become available!!

Most Natives use Silver or copper to make their jewelry and often the stones or inlays are turquoise(blue or green varieties), coral(of the red or deep orange red variety and jet or black onyx. Purple is relatively new to their usage and does not truly portray Native American or Southwest art. Also they use earth colors like sand and clay and the colors of hides and plants. That being said, I really like the turquoise one.
