so close, and yet so far

Thats cool Allanon. No point in burning yourself out this early in the year. After all there are 250 more caching days this year.

After a visit to the doctor it turns out I cracked a rib, How? you might ask. I was leaning over a railing on a cache and my foot slipped dropping the end of the ribs on my right side into the metal guard rail. There was a loud audible POP. Owwch I was in some pain. Two weeks later my side is still sore, I went out caching today and will again tomorrow, and probibly the day after that, I just have to be a little more careful in the future.

I have a small truck I am willing to drive up to the pass as long as I can get a ride back up there after the food.

Any time is good for me right now. I will either be there or not.

Allanon, That sounds fine to me. That wasn't the PNR I was thinking of but the one you sugested will work even better.

Oh dear lord! I wonder if we are ever going to make it down there. I can hear the chorus of "just one more it's just .1 miles away" already.
LMAO...There's a meeting to go to, and I HATE to be late...besides my name doesn't have the word 'Blue' in it...
yea that true but you have to admit that gal had some tenacity. Assume my friends are a bust.
Edit 4AM!! dear lord man when do you sleep?!
-
That is so very true. I guess I will just have to find one a little closer to home, hopefully.

I am interested and could probibly get friday off, but my real question is, any chance of you hiding an Alaska Trip TB while up there, that I could grab?

I've been playing a but with routing down I5 and it looks to be about 150 miles from Bellevue to the meeting place. What does everyine think, 3 hours long enough for that distance?
I'd say yes, but I've not driven that far south in awhile.
It is 1 hour 48 minutes from Federal Way (320th) to Fish the Horseshoe.
After you hit Olympia it's 70 mph the rest of the way.
Well that is true but you forgot to include any quick cache stops. Actually I have no idea what is on the way down and near the freeway.
Allanon- The PNR in Bellevue is fine. If it is the one off Bellevue Way I am quite familier with it.

thanks grossi. Both Allanon and I passed 200 today, within one of each other. We have the same total as of tonight.
Also Little Blue got 17 today so I assume that means she passed EraSeek so congrats to Allanon and Little Blue as well

Little Blue and I were talking about this thread on the way back from the Terrece Creek CITO event. Any plans to make this happen? There seemed like plenty of interest, both from those with boats and those without.

I would love to go but the 30th is out for me since I am going after the earth cache that day, anything else is fine.

A few weeks ago a large group of us did a couple of great night caches. At the time the Everett Night Cache was mentioned, but we never followed thru.
I have a list of night caches here. Is there a cache among the night caches you did a few weeks ago (or that you know of) that isn't on this list? Let met know, so I can update the list.
Thanks!

And to think this is after she told us she was going to slow down. Funny, her slow day are a good day for me. I know I am out of the running now, so go get him LittleBlue.

Boy, dating myself
Don't feel bad...I knew it too...LOL...
I am not sure how that is dating yourself. I was born 8 years after that movie came out and I still remember a lot of the umpa loompa song, who doesn't remember the golden ticket.

I am up for it but my weekends are filling up fast. When did you have in mind?

Land Rover - That sounds fine, give me a call.
Allanon - you work just up the street a little ways from my work. I am at Just north of where Redmond Way crosses West LAke Samammish/154th. I have your 0929 number, I assume that is a cell. PM me if I should call another one.
Anyone else notice that the time stamps on the forums never shifted to daylight savings time. I know I never get up that early.
-
ooh! ooh! me! me! although I have cleared out a lot in the area there are plenty to find. I probibly won't get out till about 3, maybe I can cut that early.
I will check the forums when I can at work or call you.

What are you looking for in Boise? I was there for work for 3 weeks near the capital at the begining of the year, and cleaned out around that area north of the river. Do you want hikes, urban, difficult?
