  1. Good idea. I'll add that for the next release. GEO, is it a good idea to have GPXSonar to auto load the GPX file, I for one carry more than one GPX file in my ppc, as I travel a lot and need more than my local file with me, could this be an option??
  2. l may be mistaking, but I think you have to pay for that service, there's a monthly charge.
  3. GPXSonar for me, great program.
  4. raouljan, if you're referring to my post, here's the manufacturers contact site http://www.maptech.com/company/contact/contact.cfm
  5. I may be way off track for what you are trying to do, but have you seen this program: Terrain Navigator http://www.freshtracksmaps.com/sw-mt-nav.htm
  6. Rosco, I think it became a challenge to get it to work, and your right, I know most of them by heart now Thanks again Jim W
  7. Rosco, I GOT IT, here's what I had to do, don't rename Index.htm just load everything into Doc file in the GEOSonar program, once you have it there tap the Doc file, and rename Index.htm to Help.html, and it will overwrite the Help.html in the program. Everything is on the Storage Card. Rosco, thanks a million for all your help, you sure hung in there
  8. Rosco, here's the latest, I've go it so when you tap Help the page comes up with no problems, but if you scroll down and tap one of the subjects like "Cache Details Option"a window pops and says "The page you are looking for cannot be found"
  9. Here is another place http://www.georgecomm.com/georgeco.html
  10. Rosco, I've done that right to the letter, and when I tap on Help all I get is the Sonar.gif on the screen, are you running GEOSonar 1.1 and ppc 2003 ?? Thanks Jim W
  11. Thanks, Rosco for all your help, but I couldn't get it to work. Thanks again Jim W
  12. Rosco, the Help file wouldn't overwrite the program Help file, and the reason is that the new Help file is .htm, and the program Help file is .html, I think this is the reason it won't overwrite, is there a way to change this?? Thanks Jim W
  13. Rosco Could you please explain in detail how you did this, as it would be great to have the Help Doc with you while caching. I've downloaded the Doc file from the web page, and renamed the index.html file to help.html, now what?? Thanks Jim W
  14. Thanks GEO, you sure have been a great help. Thanks again
  15. GEO I have a questions When you find a cache and log it into Field Notes it puts a green Icon in the Note column, but nothing in the Found column, is the Found column for sorting only? Thanks Jim W
  16. GEO, first off I want to say GEOSonar is a GREAT program, and thanks. Question: I know you can convert a .GPX file to a .LOC file, and puts it in the Export folder, but how do you upload to the GPS V, or can you?? Thanks again.
  17. I have noticed that some software (MagicSS) states for processors ARM, MIPS and SH3 versions, so I take it that it won't work on a Intel© XPA 255 that's in the iPAQ 4155, is this right?? Thanks
  18. I want to thank eightbit for the nice screen theme, and Rosco for helping me with the screen shot program. I just bought a iPAQ 4155, and I love it, I already had a wireless router set up in the house so that my wife could be online with her laptop, so all I had to do when I got the iPAQ was click an Icon and I was online surfing the web. I've got GPXSonar, and GPXView set up for caching, now all I have to do is find a cable to connect my GPS V to it. Thanks again
  19. Tell your son thanks for what he's doing....You may want to buy your next Garmin GPS at BestBuy, and get the walk-in replacement warranty, and any time you break your GPS just take it back and they will replace it
  20. I have a question, how do capture the screen shot???
