  1. if you want to see how many DNFs you logged, you can use this: http://www.geocaching.com/my/logs.aspx?s=1&lt=3

it has the number of logs right there and you can filter by any log type.

as for the PQ: the PQ will return only caches with all attributes set or not set that you select, in other words it's an AND query. if you want an OR query, you can always create multiple PQs, identical except for the attributes, and then combine the results yourself. not very convenient but works.

I was just looking at the DNF page again. I didn't realize it had the total number at the top. It's easy to pass over.

As for the attribute query...I would still like the OR option. Basically, I would like to query caches that involve climbing, diving, etc. I don't want to create multiple queries. You are limited to 5 a day and I would just rather not have to deal with more queries than I already have. I still think it would be a very useful feature and it should be very easy to implement.

  2. I have a couple of ideas that I think would be helpful on the web site.

First of all, when you go to your profile and select the caches, could there be a count or number next to each cache? This would be especially helpful when trying to find out how many DNF, etc. you have logged.

Second, when you build a pocket query, I would like to be able to apply and/or to the attribute query. That way I can look for a cache that has several specific attributes or a list of caches that has one or more out of several attributes.

  3. I know this is an old post but I'm sure people still see it.

Most GPSr do not update the direction unless you are moving. Sometimes when there is tree cover or bad signal, it is not always accurate. I think a good old magnetic compass is a good tool to have.

There have also been a couple times that I wished I had some TP. I won't go into those stories though. Baby wipes are actually great in case of "emergencies," or for just cleaning your hands, face, etc.

I also bring hand sanitizer and gloves for when I'm digging around in leaves, dirt, etc.

Some caches may require some wading or just have some really wet ground. It doesn't hurt to throw some rubber boots in the trunk.

This is my complete list that I have been working on.

    1. GPS

    2. Pen
